Plate 8 — Restaurant in Welshpool

I was going to an appointment in the same area as the café as it was lunch time I decided to give this place a try, given that this is Kewdale/Welshpool I expected it to be busy as it was a rather more up market café, deco is spare to non existent, there is a covered alfresco area, it was after the lunch time rush, I ordered the pastrami sandwich with cheese and sauerkraut (toasted) and a cappuccino large, the sandwich was nice however the cheese or mustard was rather strong and I could not taste the pastrami, the cappuccino was standard nothing special, the staff were efficient and friendly, there is a good variety on the menu, same with the selection of drinks both hot and cold, I would definitely eat at the café again overall not a bad place to eat and...

I had the chicken schnitzel with a side of roast vegetables. The food was nice but I wasn’t offered any marinara sauce it was a little disappointing.
