Disappointing to say the least! Thought with the big queue out to the door that it may indicate a popular and yummy location. Not so! After waiting 15 minutes for service Had the spinach and cheese triangle which definitely wasn’t made today. It was disgusting. Pastry hard and old. My husband had the bacon pie and said it was good - but he is male. He also had the ham wrap which was average and I had the egg sandwich to have later as we were travelling. My dog ended up eating that. The lady who served us could not have been more miserable. The upside the coffee was very good. Ordered the large coffee and it was the smallest cup I’d ever seen. All of this for $39! I should have burnt my money at the door. Didn’t eat in. The premises are not very clean. Could do...

I give commendable points to staying open on Saturday afternoon. Travellers like us love to support local businesses. Then we can only be left to ask what has happened Round About cafe? So much potential. We only bought a coffee, carrot cake and a passionfruit vanilla slice. The carrot cake we bought was nice but truly lacked any carrot. I can only recommend an upgrade for your vanilla slice. There was no flavour of passionfruit and the icing was overbeaten to pure butter. It far outweighs the 10 mm dry and hard custard. Can I please suggest to overhaul it or take it off the menu till the problems...

Tried the “new” bacon and cheese sausage roll. Mostly disappointed. Seems like it was coming straight out of the oven so was fresh. But it was tasteless, slightly undercooked, too doughy, the very little bacon and cheese and seasoning. Even the pastry tasted like pre-made. Would certainly not pay $5 for it. Service is as cold as the weather out there. Doesn’t hurt to smile and great customers.
