I recently discovered this gem on the hills. Today it was the first visit but I am definitely going back. From sourdough bread to jams, chutneys, desert sauce and an array of cakes, it can please everyone. Their scones are huge funny shaped with plenty of fruit. You can have a toastie and a coffee with plenty of benches around on all the porches in that small precinct. Being a rainy day the tables weren't out. The small bakery was full and the staff worked organised to serve everyone as quickly as possible. It was a pleasure to be there today and just made it a very special day.

The cruffin is so good! I bought it to go, and ate it more than 12hours later, it was still delicious and the custard filling was amazing, one of the best I’ve tried. Dining in (seating is outdoors) I had the ham and cheese toastie, which was pretty yummy, even the flies wanted a bite of it. They mysteriously disappeared once I finished my toastie. Had an iced mocha too, and it was solid. I’d recommend stopping by, you’ll be greeted with friendly service. (Visited in March 2025)

Ordered the surprise bag, honest portion, variety types, wonderful taste and nice service. A huge blueberry sourdough, a cinnamon roll, a chocolate croissant, an original croissant and a full of blueberry's scone and one rich chicken cheese Toastie. Fantastic experience! Definitely will come back to order more and of course with coffee.

Lovely produce, charming country-like spot with a couple of tiny tables under a shady tree out the front - The Front is the tarred road behind, not the red dirt you first see turning in. Tourists will like this place. The quality is definitely there, but minus one star as I feel the prices do not match the quantity/feeling of satisfaction even after eating 2 scones. (?$6.5ea no price tags and no receipt provided). I prefer the blueberry scones from Baker's Delight, to be honest, and while the Cinnamon Scroll is excellent and soft, also priced high like a prime 5-star city location. I will however, recommend their cheese scones. Their croissants look perfect and are prolly the best in Perth (I haven't tried any in Subiaco), but WA doesn't have a high quality of Croissant to begin with, even in the southern tourist region or patisserie in the CBD. Have had a better ham cheese croissant in Singapore for $1 Less in a 5 star resort. Still giving it a 4 for the charm IF you are in the area for something else. I would not travel just for this... Maybe an unbalanced view as I have yet to try their amazing-looking breads. Maybe their breads are the standouts as befits their name...

For comparison and a totally different experience, consider takeaway from Honey's in Roleystone which is nowhere as classy or picturesque as Blue Sky, but certain to fill your tummy for a smaller budget. Blue Sky allows you to 'dine in' alfresco...

So it's been a while since I have been to Blue Sky Bread. I had heard that they were making an epic Carrot Cake. As I have been busy (normally I bake my own goods) I thought I would pop in and grab one to take to a morning tea. I walked in and was pleasantly surprised with the variety of food that was now available for purchase. Puff pastry danishes, scones of all sorts, sour dough bread, and brownies. OMG super yum! Everything there is made from scratch. NO packet mixes. REAL butter! We cut into the carrot cake and the flavours! Walnuts! Cinnamon! Non of those disgusting packet mix flavours. Fresh ingredients. Creamy delicious cream cheese icing! SO GOOD! If you haven't had a moment to sneak up the hill to enjoy these delicacies you are seriously missing out. We nuked the brownies in the microwave for a brief moment to bring back the gooey deliciousness of these epic generous slices. They were what a brownie should be! Not rubbery! But moorish, chocolatey and decadent. I will be returning here on a regular basis from now on! Next time I'm going to try the scones and...

I came by today 12 minutes before closing, holding my baby girl. The person behind the counter told me I couldn’t buy a toasted sandwich or coffee because she’d already cleaned the equipment. Now, it is not easy to put the baby back in the car, drive to another destination, and get lunch. I feel that the girl serving me could have easily heated up the toastie given the time she had before closing. Some may argue that I could have gotten there sooner, but I was too busy having my dog put down. This customer service was disappointing given they do a nice sourdough. If they make efforts to improve, then customers would be more likely to return, not feeling...
