We had a great lunch overlooking the greens We ordered A Rueben sandwich which is hard to get right and it was the best I’d had since we were last in Canada, snd also the southern fried chicken sandwich. My husband & I shared 1/2 each and were so impressed with the food and the excellent service. All the staff encountered were kind and welcoming. We will definitely go back as the coffee was also great

Absolutely love the grounds. The resort itself has some great features but could do with a bit of an upgrade. Cafe 28 has a nice view of the driving range and gardens but could also definitely be upgraded. The menu is simple but nice. The coffee is good. Prices are reasonable.

The most gorgeous setting. Golf course and beautiful trees & garden to look at while cafe dining or simply enjoying a beverage. Aside from generally enjoying the company of another at my table, I enjoy the sounds of numerous birds, who obviously enjoy the environment as well. Don't always see them, but love listening to their calls & songs. For this reason I often like to come here earlier than my companions, just to bask in the tranquility. Naturally when it's at peak lunch time, not such an audible treat, but still a blessing to the eyes. Very spacious and open venue. Food meets most palate expectations, but as with most cafes the majority of lunches served have an abundance of carbohydrates , which personally doesn't help me. But my accompanying friend loved her light lunch, while I thoroughly enjoyed a couple of coffees & her pleasant company. Recommend this as a beautiful chance from the sea views & the four walled cafe of noise. No noticeable air-conditioning, but veranda ceiling fans & a seat in the shade...

If you're not dressed as a golfer (or a wealthy businessman), the vibe you get from the (all male, at the time of our visit) golfers is definitely on the nose... The waitress was lovely and made us feel very welcome so the coffee that we'd gone there for was delivered with a smile and a little chat - it's worth going just for the coffee - we went back for seconds. The fact that the membership fees at this public golf course are more than my annual income (I'm a pensioner) shows that golf is not for the average person. Compared to the Wembley public golf course, this one is very snooty. I can't comment on the food, as we just had coffee (which was not overpriced), but I'd assume that it would be good fare at...

Public holiday visit. No sign saying p/h surcharge. 10% added to every purchase. Ordered bacon & Egg burger at 9am. Price posted as $12. Charged $13.20. Eat in order and given a number. Sat in eat in area and watched people who ordered after me receive their food. Asked the waitress why my order is taking so long and was told we are busy. What did you order. Told her and she said I will find out. Came back and said it will be a few minutes. Arrived 5 minutes later at 9.30am and she apologised for delay. I Bite into the burger and the egg was very runny, oozed out over my hands. Wasn't cooked enough. Bacon was spot on but I suspect cooked in a batch. Left disappointed by...
