Wow!!!! What a hidden little gem this place is. First impression of looking at the front of Fyre was wow, very modern, quirky and busy! Greeted as we entered and taken to our table which again the decor, soft furnishings made this place very different from any other restaurant I've been to. The atmosphere was very relaxed, tables where full and the food coming out look amazing. The menu was presented and again I've never experienced this kind of fine dining so was a refreshing change knowing chef changes the menu every day. Service was quick and friendly, our drinks and food came out pretty soon. The salmon was delicious, the skin was so crispy and tasty, cooked perfect, id definitely have that again, my company had scotch fillet and highly rated that to. Plates where hot, food very well presented, tasty and good portions. It was a fantastic experience and what made it more so, chef came out mingled with the customers after Service, he came and sat at our table and chatted away to us, that was a lovely thing to do. I'd thoroughly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates fine dining and want something different. I wouldn't say child friendly as the menu is purely more limited to fine quizine rather than chicken nuggets n chips, so I wouldn't take kids. I took hubby here for his birthday dinner tonight as I’d heard great reviews and it is nice and local. I booked on line and asked to be seated in the lower chairs as I have buggered my back in the booking notes, when I spoke to the lovely lady when we arrived she said they had me a table with lower chairs for my back. That care and consideration was so humbling but gratefully appreciated. I thought I had made my mind up what I wanted from the menu until I saw the other meals came out, I then had to look at the menu again to narrow down my choices again, it all looked so good! We settled on the steak which was cooked to perfection. I thought the veggies were great but hubby pulled his usual face at veggies, but they must have been good as he bravely gave them a go (and quietly enjoyed them!) we were both in love with the potatoes, even though I am green with envy I can’t get mine to come close! The atmosphere was lovely and we loved the fact the chef came and had a chat which really was the icing on the cake of an amazing child free evening. The staff were lovely, helpful and very friendly.
