Chippy's Fish Cafe — Restaurant in Western Australia

Last week I ordered a piece of battered whiting and chips - instead of a nice chunky fillet I got 9x overcooked, crumbed, processed fish nugget things. I had missed a call from the store in regards to this and later emailed them to which they said they had a problem with their supplier so I let it go thinking alright, I missed their call and the supplier issue isn't their fault. All good.

Tonight I ordered the same and kept my phone on me in case there was a whiting emergency. No phone call so I assumed everything was going to be as expected but when I opened the pizza box (yes - pizza box) sweet baby jesus those nasty little processed overcooked fish nuggets stared back at me. This time I didn't receive a phone call though which if I had, I would have declined this so called fish and opted for something else.

In all seriousness though, if someone orders and pays for a fillet of fish, they expect a fillet of fish. You should, out of good will, give them a fillet of another kind if you're out of the one they ordered. We will not be buying...

Have not had fish and chips this good since... I can't remember.

Amazing cooking quality, the lemon pepper grilled Snapper was delightful and light and the Battered Spanish Mackerel was so tasty and fresh. The batter was properly adhered to the fish, not floating and covered with oil like some stores do, you know when you finish the meal and then feel like you've drunk a cup of oil and feel ill? None of that here.

I'm so disappointed I don't live within Uber Eats distance of this restaurant, as I'm currently at my in laws. But I'll be making many trips here from Alkimos from now on.

Crab Sticks were delightful and fresh.

Dim Sim was also amazing.

You can tell that this place has both good chefs and good management who decide to use quality products.

Cannot express how wonderful this meal was. I tipped the Uber driver cause it was the closest I could get to tipping the store.

NEVER ORDER FROM THIS USELESS FISH AND CHIP SHOP!

We have ordered from here numerous times and without fail the order is always screwed up. There are always items missing from the order, one time it was all the fish (considering its a fish and chip shop, you would think they would remember to put the fish in!) I always ring to speak to the shop but I'm pretty sure this place is being run by children. I asked when the owner is in so I can speak to them but the answer is they never come in! Not helpful at all and never do they offer to fix the issue.

After giving them numerous chances we will never order from Chippy's Carramar again as they are just money thieves. I would never recommend this business to anyone, you are better off going to McDonald's for a...
