We ordered the Butter Prawns, Goan Prawns, Daal with Vegetables. Pros: -All dishes were perfectly spiced, delicious and full of flavour which was perfect. The food itself was as described being “mild.” This has not been the case with other Indian restaurants where all the dishes have been spiced to the point that you begin to contemplate a trip to ER incase your body begins to shut down.
Cons: -Very expensive: In comparison to other nationalities of takeaway (e.g. Asian are typically 650 - 1000ml depending on the dish) the quantity provided was quite small for around the same price. The three dishes all came in 500ml containers which is around ~20% smaller. Each of the two prawn dishes were $23.99ea and contained 8 full size prawns, sauce but little else. $15 for Daal & Vegetables was a mix of Daal, with peas, carrot, red capsicum, potatoes.
-Poor customer service and cleanliness: Arrived early at 4:54pm (Officially opened at 5:00pm) the doors were already open, so I walked in, picked up a takeaway menu and waited at the counter. The was in the kitchen and didn’t notice me but there was a young guy walking around, tidying up, collecting rubbish and putting it into a trolley. Not a word from him, no acknowledgement that I even existed. After waiting for a while to be noticed as he continued to move around me, avoiding my gaze, I eventually asked him if they were open? He grunted something as he again walked past me into the kitchen to talk to the chef. He came back out moments telling me that they were not open yet as he continued past me. I looked at my watch which was now showing 4:58pm. Ok, fair enough but why are the doors open wide. So as I’m turning to walk back out the store and wait for them to officially open, the chef suddenly appeared at the counter behind me and asked what I wanted to order? Sorry I’m confused???? I placed my order and was told it would take 20-30mins which was ok given it hadn’t opened yet and I had some grocery shopping to do. When I arrived back it was waiting for me sitting out on top of the counter going cold. So while the staff were not directly rude to me, something as simple as a smile or acknowledgement of the customers existence would be an improvement. Having read many of the other reviews on here, this seems to be a reoccurring theme.
-Cleanliness/Decor: The dining area had a shopping trolley full of food which may not normally be the case given they were not quite open yet. However, when I returned to pick up my food at around 5:30pm, the trolley was still there. The dining area itself was dimly lit, not inviting and looked like it could do with a deep clean and update. This has also been noted many times.

Read moreI ordered from Uber eats, the mixed platter, and I must say the samosas tasted good, but it was too oily, tho. The onion pakodas wasn't crispy, but it was okay. But I really loved the goat with bone biryani and beef pepper fry, which was my absolute favourite. It was the absolute perfect spice for my south Indian taste buds. Mind you, if you don't like heat, don't order the biryani as it bursts of flavours. The beef pepper fry was definitely how we make it in the south full of flavours, so it's not meant for folks who like mild. But it's definitely suited of you're a south Indian or from the south and can handle the heat. Maybe tell the chef and accordingly suit your palate. But I loved them all and definitely coming back to try more dishes and the biryani, of course. 💯🙏
Edit update: Even if the food is great, I don't know why we have to wait for hours for the delivery. Two days ago, we had ordered from Uber Eats, and of late, the delivery literally takes like an hour and a half. I'm not kidding. You have to order in advance before you even feel hungry, and sometimes, it still won't reach on time. Please work on your delivery orders as they come. The food is great, but I would appreciate it if you guys worked on your delivery schedules. It can be really annoying when you're so hungry and the food don't...
Read moreNot good at all. Bought a Groupon and they asked for a barcode. I said Groupon didn't send one but I made a reservation. The only way you can make a reservation is if you purchased the voucher and I proceeded to show them the email confirmation, either way they should have my booking.
A rude old man from the kitchen came and said "no we can't serve you as you have no barcode", I tried to explain that he didn't know what he was talking about but he just angrily said no and walked away. Eventually, they sorted it after I kicked up a big fuss and made some excuse that Groupon didn't send them an email or whatever. No apology nothing.
And when it came to ordering the waitress couldn't explain properly what was and wasn't included in the groupon. I had to ask if she would include the drinks as per the Groupon and she ok and I asked if I could take the water and she said I could only take ONE water even though the Groupon was for two?? I then asked if I could get 2 as the Groupon was for two and she had to go inside the kitchen to ask for permission and came back to say it was ok.
I really question why businesses like these sign up to Groupon only to not only lose money on their deals but treat customers so badly that they get a negative review which is then read by thousands of...
