Muffin Break Dianella — Restaurant in Western Australia

A large Coffee and Cake for $8 sign on counter attracted me to the shop positioned in middle of shopping mall. On placing order was rudely told "No, no special!" The man then swiped the sign away and said it's "coffee and muffin" but on placing order was told it's $8.50...." I asked what happened to the $8.00? I was bluntly told "No." So misrepresenting to customers and rude. Other coffee shop in Plaza closed so I just ordered coffee. Elderly couple next me received two rounds of toasted sandwiches without serviette for each and elderly lady forced to stand and retrieve from counter before I called out on their behalf to passing waitress. Terrible customer service. Franchisor needs to provide proper customer service training to this operator. Go...

The only reason this is getting a 2 is due to the coffee being okay and the customer service being decent, coffee was a bit hot but thats expected as majority of the customers are above the age of 60, but the food was absolutely terrible. Their muffins are usually pretty good, but there cabinet food is terrible. Had a bacon and egg pie today, was really dry and stale from being left out for to long around the edges, and just tasted gross. I ate it, but only because I don’t waste food, no matter how bad. Come for a cuppa and a muffin, but dont eat the cabinet food unless you WANT to be...

I have been coming here weekly for over a year. Why? It's simple: wouldn't you when the staff are not only friendly, but at times have gone out of their way when it looks as if there is no table spare. Amazed how they remember who ordered what without using table numbers. I have never had reason to comment poorly on the food and laugh when I see comments that the person's coffee/drink is too hot.
