Very pleasant helpfull staff both in person and on the phone.Prices are good as was the selection of seafood. I bought a tray of NZ oysters in a shell and I wished I had'nt.Within hours I had gastro which has left me angry having asked were the oysters ok to eat because they had been frozen.I have always been cautioned on buy market seafood but I gave into temptation and boy have I paid the price. We have yet to try the fish.It looks very fresh so fingers crossed my experience was a once off.One thing is for sure I will never eat oysters in this country again.Ive had several bad experiences including my most recent experience.Not a pleasant outcome🤔 Updated 22 Janurary.The fish we bought on the same day is fresh and was delicious hence the extra star. This is now the only market we will get our fish from. There is only a small selection but they are more than happy to help you with the best options or bring in something you’re after. We regularly buy the squid and octopus. The octopus is reasonably priced for local WA supply. It is so hard to find good quality and local octopus. We recently bought 2 whole fish of something we have never tried before but we’re recommended it, and it was truly fantastic, the whole family loved it (including our pups). Most of the fish is on the pricier side but it is well worth it for the quality and there being Australian options. The most disgusting seafood I have ever had the displeasure of buying. Prawns that were soft and mushy, when tiger prawns normally pride themselves on firm flesh over flavour. Squid was just terrible, and scallops were the biggest waste of money. I threw the prawns and scallops away before I even wasted my time cooking them and the squid was very tough. I normally catch and cook my own squid, but have bought it from other retailers without an issue. Overall very disappointing and I will not be returning and will advise everyone I know to steer clear. If I could rate lower than 1...
