Review: Greenwood Chinese – A Local Favorite with Hearty Portions Greenwood Chinese is a popular spot among locals, offering fresh, flavorful dishes in a cozy, no-frills setting. While the decor might feel a bit tired and dated, the food and service more than make up for it. The Good: - Fresh and Generous Portions: The food is fresh, and the portions are hearty, ensuring you get great value for your money. - Friendly and Accommodating Staff: The staff is welcoming and happy to make modifications to dishes, catering to your preferences with a smile. - Popular with Locals: This place is a hit, especially at night, with a steady stream of regulars—always a good sign of consistent quality. - Partially Accessible: While not fully accessible, the restaurant does make an effort to be disability-friendly, which is a plus. The Not-So-Good: - Tired Decor: The interior could use a refresh, as it feels a bit old and worn. - Limited Accessibility: While partially accessible, it might still pose challenges for some visitors with mobility issues. Final Thoughts: Greenwood Chinese is a solid choice for those craving fresh, well-portioned Chinese food in a laid-back setting. The friendly service and good-quality dishes make it a local favorite, even if the decor could use a little love. If you’re in the area and looking for a reliable meal, this spot is worth a visit!

A group of 12 of us had a booking for 6.30pm. We had soup and spring rolls as part of a banquet served at 7.08 pm. We then had to wait for the main part of the banquet which took almost an hour before it was served. We had a banquet for 4 people therefore 3 banquet’s equaled the 12 people When we went to pay the bill as groups they argued with us and told us we owed them an extra banquet for 4 which equaled an extra incorrect charge of $129. After 20 minutes of arguing they then realized that they stuffed up their billing process and we were 100% correct. Finally our group of 12 left the restaurant at 9.40pm over 3 hours since we arrived. We let them know it was a horrible experience and we wouldn’t be back again. Be careful because on their web site they advertise the “Special Banquet 4 person” for $125 we were charged $129 per special banquet

14.03.2020 Fantastic Chinese restaurant, a gem into Wanneroo area. The food was delicious and every dishes were perfectly cooked. We loved it ! If you dine in, atmosphere is quiet, decoration is simple but typical and staff are great. Professional, polite and friendly. At first you can be surprised, but don’t get fooled by the prices on the menu. Portions are huge and you can take any extra with you at home. I understood, the restaurant is under a new owner/management since a few months. And you can tell they have been working hard to deliver a constant top quality and best service to the customer. Mission accomplished to me. Highly recommended Highly appreciated Highly yummy Pictures: - Fried wontons - Duck & Plum sauce ( a must to try) - Beef satay - Honey chicken - Special fried rice
