Average Mexican food that came with good customer service.

The girl (Delarey, was the clerk name printed on my receipt) who took my order in-store was really friendly and patient 😊 Wait time was 6 minutes ⏰️🏃‍♂️ Guzman y Gomez Warnbro provided an extra fork and serviettes to my order🍴 The paper bag provided was free of charge 👜

The best part of Guzman y Gomez was the free Salsa Station and salt & pepper. I took a Smoky Chipotle Salsa (Medium spiciness) and Habanero Salsa (Spicy - highest spiciness).

I ordered a (regular*) burrito bowl with pulled pork and spicy sauce ($14.80) with fresh jalapenos ($0.60). *I did not request a specific sized bowl, so my order defaulted to regular.

The burrito bowl tasted average, but not good/amazing. It was extremely lacking in fresh jalapenos that I feel I was charged $0.60 for nothing, and I should have taken the free pickled jalapenos instead 🌶 The pulled pork was a bit dry. The rice, salsa and black beans were good and not dry. Black beans were really abundant 🫘 The nacho chips were crispy. There was a small amount of thinly shredded cheese; there could have been more, as I could barely taste it 🧀 I could slightly taste the spicy sauce.

Overall, the burrito bowl could have been fresher.

The portion was generous, enough for dinner 🍽

Tip for spicy lovers: I highly recommend using extra sauces if you want your food to be a lot more spicy (because that's what I did) 🔥🔥

I likely won't come back here and will be looking for a better Guzman y Gomez, or a different and better takeaway Mexican food place 🇲🇽

Decided to give GYG one more shot after a year's hiatus from my last awful experience from them. Today, it was me simply ordering a large fries, nothing else.

I was the only car in the entire drive-thru. It took nearly five minutes for someone to take my order. After finally moving round to the pickup window, I was greeted by a staff member after roughly two minutes of sitting there. After paying, the staff member said absolutely nothing, and shut the window.

Five more minutes pass, and the member tells me they are still waiting on fresh fries, and they will take two minutes. They ask me to move to the waiting bay, as there are cars behind me.

A further five minutes later, cars are starting to leave with their orders, and I still haven't received my one item. After a small eternity, my fries turn up.

This is absolutely the last time I will ever waste my time with GYG Warnbro again. The staff have absolutely no idea about customer service, and to wait at least fifteen minutes for a large fries, is absurd beyond any reason. A simple order that should take five minutes total, took over three times that.
