Hot Rock Pizza — Restaurant in Western Australia

[EDIT FEB 2025] ... been ages since been here - ordered 2x pizzas last night. 1x == 100% perfect, the 2nd pizza == lopsided ingredients on pizza - almost like had thrown ingredients onto base from a distance (heavy on side, almost nothing on other side).

I see you have also changed the design of pizza boxes since my last visit - "best in town" - really??? and nothing on pizza box to even say Hot Rock Pizza ... whoever came up with that marketing design needs to be demoted.

Still noticed staff wearing gloves when processing order/handling money == why wear gloves at all?

Coming into winter (so no blow-flies like my previous post) - but customers still keep leaving the sliding door open.

Swatting away blowflies while waiting inside for pizza is not good (what happened to the plastic curtains at entrance?) + storeperson didnt bother to take off gloves when processing order/handling money (why wear gloves at all then?).

High quality pizza, yet without breaking the bank.

IMO : the only pizza that beats them ... is from a traditional Italian place i sometimes go to, but == more...

Overcharged due to a glitch in menu log. When I called in to inform the manager he talked over me and became argumentative and would not accept fault. When I realised the conversation was going nowhere and that he had no interest in resolving my issue, despite the falsely advertised pricing I said I would not return. He became aggressive and accused me of being unable to afford the pizzas I had already paid for. What an insult. Clearly the implication is that this place can charge whatever they feel like above advertised menu pricing and if there is a dispute it is because the customer is poor??? I thought I would give a small business a chance instead of using Pizza Hut. I’ll Never come here again. Apart from that the pizza was greasy and the garlic bread was burnt. This is the worst customer service I have ever received....

Used to be one of our favourite pizza joints in the area but unfortunately as others have stated not anymore. The original owners seem to be gone and the new Chinese ones don't have a clue! My meatlovers was nothing but BBQ sauce and slimy/oily processed meats and my partners Chicken Aoili not only had processed rubbish chicken but disgusting burnt garlic flakes all over it. Both went in the bin. I have nothing against the Chinese, but please learn your craft in Italian food before just buying a business for sale. Try Mamma Mias in Bayswater or Centrepoint - avoid this place -...
