Manager had her whole family behind the counter helping her run the understaffed restaurant, none of them wearing uniform, none of them wearing hairnets, the very few actual workers in uniform wore hairnets but her family was exempt it seemed, her school kids came in and walked behind the counter and basically served themselves, didn’t see any of them wash their hands or put their long hair up, I was asked to use the machines to order because no one is free to serve me, but there’s no hiring signs up anywhere when they’re clearly understaffed. Aside from that, the burgers and chips were rushed and poorly done, my whole group didn’t have any salt on any chips, my burger only had one slice of tomato the size of a 50 cent coin, my friends burger had no sauce, brekky muffins had literally half the cheese slices hanging outside of one side of the burger, and the bacon barely inside the burger on the other side, basically had to reassemble my own burger just to eat it properly. Not very impressed at all, needs new/more employees, proper training for them, and NEEDS to not have her family walk behind the counter without taking any hygiene precautions and walk around with their hair hanging down and out and just get...
Read morei had a very disappointing experience at Hungry Jack’s when I ordered a vegan meal. While waiting, I noticed that one of the staff members was making a non-vegetarian burger—handling bacon and a beef patty with gloves. Shockingly, he then used the same gloves to prepare my vegan burger, touching the lettuce, tomato, and cheese. This completely defeats the purpose of ordering a vegan meal and is totally unacceptable.
Cross-contamination is a serious issue, and it shows a lack of care and understanding of dietary choices. When I raised this concern, there was no proper response, and the manager didn’t seem to care at all. This kind of negligence is unacceptable, and I hope Hungry Jack’s trains their staff properly on food handling and hygiene.
If you’re vegan or have dietary restrictions, I’d strongly advise being cautious before...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at Hungry Jack’s South. I went there to pick up a delivery, but since I wasn’t in a good condition to walk, I sent my partner inside to collect the order. Instead of understanding the situation, one staff member (an English man) refused to listen and immediately reported it as “someone else using my account.”
This is not the first time it has happened — they previously did the same thing to my partner, giving unfair ratings like “no bag” multiple times, which eventually caused her Uber account to be blocked. Now, the same treatment is being repeated with me.
I feel this is completely unfair and unprofessional. Staff should treat delivery drivers with respect and listen to genuine reasons, not jump to false conclusions that could affect...
