I’m not sure where these 5* reviewers left their guide dogs and taste buds – this place would have Gordon Ramsey swearing like a Russian and throwing pans and staff out of windows. I ordered the Ravioli (pictures attached) or as I am renaming it “Beef Bullet Pasta”.. I was expecting the large home made parcels of perfectly cooked beef in a beautiful sauce – what arrived was over cooked mush stuffed with tough beef – actually akin to dried cat food (you can see this because the pasta parcels split open so easily) in a bland although very colorful sauce. My partner ordered chicken with mushroom sauce (picture attached). This came with over cooked vegetables and a mashed potato best described as soup. The chicken itself had the texture and taste of a slab of gelatin - as if the chook had self-injected and over dosed on the meat bulking additives that poultry producers use in order to get a better rate for their produce. Like the Wuhan Meat market, give this place a massive swerve. Id rather stick cold rusty pins in my eyeballs that waste my hard-earned cash here again - its only getting one star because you have to put...
Read moreMy partner and I cannot stop raving about this place!! Let me preface the rest of this review by saying: my partner is Italian, so they're used to cooking and eating incredible food, but this place was something else... the food was divine and soooo affordable that the quality absolutely blew us away. We had the garlic prawns and the gnocchi carbonara, and honestly, they had to have been the best we've ever had. The amount of prawns we got was amazing, and our nine month old thought they were delicious too 😋 The service was so lovely, the person who served us especially was so sweet and went to great lengths to make us feel welcome and help us out with our baby which is such a rare and delightful experience. Overall, this is the best place to eat out in Perth, and we would happily travel the hour it took us to get here for the experience we had! Do yourself a favour and check...
Read moreThe first time I ate here was over a year ago I was away from the area for awhile and since I decided to return to greenwood I decided to eat here again I ordered the bacon and mushroom carbonara as I did the first time the service was just as I remember quick service and decent wait time but that’s where the praise ends I don’t know what happened if the owners changed or just a bad night but the pasta was some how both soggy and undercooked there was little to no sauce or flavour outside of oil and my biggest disappointment was looking down towards the end quarter to see nearly an equal amount of oil congealing at the other end it tasted almost as oily and now it finally made sense why my meal lacked flavour in place was an oil bath or a one way trip to the hospital i hope this was just a bad one time slip up and I was...
