McDonald's Vasse — Restaurant in Western Australia

Generally have a good experience every time I come :) However, there is one employee that needs to go to anger management or something. I think his name is Jake and he has reddish hair. I’ve had multiple bad experiences with him:

One time I was placing my order and I could hear him sighing and actually growling as we added food. It was as though he was getting mad at us for creating more work for him because he got more angry the more food we added. As we pulled into the window where you pay, someone I was with said to him “bad day?” and he said yes and was rude to us.

Another time (the day of writing the review) he got my drink wrong and as he handed it to me in the drive through I told him I ordered a frozen coke, not a regular coke. He took the coke and straw back in, slammed them on the table and stomped off. The person in the car with me and I just looked at each other and said “what’s his problem?”

There have been numerous other occasions when he has just been rude and unfriendly. Not a good employee, I hope...

Went in this morning and the first port of call was the ladies restroom. I have seen cleaner and better maintained bathrooms in third world countries. It was absolutely disgusting. Then it was on to ordering food. The young gentleman who served us had the personality of an angry tortoise, but after watching three other team members interacting with customers I realised he was not alone, no one working there has any desire to build a relationship with anyone who dares enter their hallowed turf. I actually felt guilty while eating my hastily assembled, poorly wrapped breakfast burger. I may be wrong, but maybe that was the team challenge of the day? The first one to smile is the loser? So I am writing this review to apologise to the staff for having the audacity of interrupting your day, I have walked away feeling awful that you had to serve us. I can tell how painful it is for all of you, and I will never, ever...

This store needs an overhaul and actual management. We ordered x2 sinple meals. What a complete waste of time. Nobody seemed to know what was happening with my partners burger so after 15 mins of waiting we ended up with a refund. On top of this the staff didn't even seem to know what our order included even though it was displayed on their screen and tried to short-change us. The person making my partners burger wasn't wearing gloves, which to me is a health concern. Additionally one of the staff members had somehow sabotaged the PA system making inappropriate remarks. The store was very dirty; straw and napkins weren't refilled and seemed like the manager couldn't control the staff who seemed to be swearing which customers could overhear.
