Nollamara Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Western Australia

Very disappointed. Been coming to this Fish & Chip Shop for years, it was my favourite until now. Went 2 nights ago and noticed a huge change. Their prices had increased significantly. Just over a month ago a serve of fish 7 chips was $10 but now it is $15. All of their meal deals have increased hugely in price. I understand inflation but raising the prices by 50% is just being greedy. The portions of fish were also half the size they were before. They use the second quality chips which are very small and look like potato scraps because they cost less to buy. On the night I went the chips were also overcooked and hard. Raisng their prices by 50%, reducing the size of the fish portions by half and using cheap quality small chips means I sadly will not be...

I am a local at this shop I usually come here every single day sometimes twice a day. Tonight iv literally just about run to the shop I get to the shop and the security guard is standing outside about 200m away and has just let 1; customer in as iv gotten to the door his walked in locked the door so iv knocked on the door. For him to just totally looked past me and turned away as if he couldn't hear or see me. Which I think was just extremely rude. Considering they aren't meant to close untill 9pm which I arrived at the door at 8:57

Fee for using card payment on a $20 purchase is 50c. That is 2.46% and way higher than businesses are allowed to charge. There is a law that states businesses may only pass on the true cost of processing the transaction, which for debit cards is usually less than 1%. You can't just make up a 50c fee out of nowhere. I won't be buying from here again. It's a shame really, because the fish and chips are great and I used to go there regularly. Nobody uses cash in 2021, it's a cost of business to accept card payments.
