Two out of three dishes we ordered were wrong. One of those was a vegetarian dish which came with meat. My partner only realised it had meat in it after tasting it. We then contacted the restaurant who proceeded to question us and then blamed it on the menulog menu, even though we clearly selected the vegetarian dish from the vego section and the other dish from the chicken section (it came with beef instead). In the end they offered to deliver two new dishes and we agreed. When they rocked up, I thought I would approach them with an open mind even with the poor customer service I'd received over the phone. When they passed me the food, they told me next time to make sure I put a comment on the order about the dish being vegetarian, again trying to pass blame. I tried to again explain the situation but it was clear they weren't listening. Overall, terrible customer service, clearly don't understand online ordering, and don't understand the importance of not putting meat in a...

The service was great, the food was great, large portions, when I first arrived the restaurant looked lifeless, the Bain Maries were in darkness, the front looked uninviting, there really needs to be the look of something in these heating devices, even fake things or something, there was no one there which worried me, this is normally a bad first sign, the front glass door and window should be immaculate but they were not fresh and clean looking, they had some lovely down lights but half of them were turned off, lights are so important for setting a nice cosy atmosphere, I think if the owners worked on these few things they would certainly pull in more customers, like I said the food was great, service was great, but first impressions was what caused me not to give five stars at this stage. Worth visiting and trying out their great food...

I had a very disappointing experience at Safari Restaurant in Nollamara. The staff member I interacted with was extremely rude and unprofessional. She claimed to be the owner of the restaurant and insisted that she could decide whether to sell food to me or not, which was very disrespectful.

Furthermore, she reduced the size of my order without any apparent reason and later outright refused to serve me at all, even after other clients intervened. Despite their efforts, she refused to sell food to me, which was both frustrating and unacceptable.

I used to enjoy this place when it was under Abdul Mama Africa—those days, service was delivered with dignity and respect. Sadly, the customer service now is poor, and the staff appears to choose who they serve.

I hope the management addresses these issues to improve the...

A hidden gem in Perth, located in Nollamara shopping centre with lots of parking available. Family run business with attentive owner who was friendly enough to explain and discuss food options. Perfect place if you want to try out some thing different, authentic East African HALAL food. Prices are reasonable and portions are large enough, hence it is value for the money paid. Good feel nice flavours. I would go back there again when I am in Perth. Did not like being insisted to pay by cash, as I was told to walk out to the ATM and bring cash which I didn't but managed to pay by card. I recommend this restaurant for anyone who loves to explore food cultures.

Somali samosas (Sambusa) are one of my most favourite snacks, but they are a rare find in Perth - something I would only get to enjoy at Muslim/Somali community gatherings. They are very unique compared to other samosas because of the handmade pastry and yummy mince filling. When I heard this restaurant sold them, I had to try them - and I can tell you it was well worth the drive to the opposite side of my world! The pastry is crispy, inside moist and the filling is just delicious. Moreover, the staff were very kind, friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu!

Delicious food with a huge variety of things on the menu. Wanted to try a bit of everything but the Kai wot (spicy beef) was very tasty. Tried the chicken suqaar and dal medames also, very great range of flavors and variety of spice levels. Many of the dishes come with your choice of side and the ugali, injera and crispy flatbread all enhanced the meal. I will definitely come back to try more dishes! Great place to take friends, there are large tables and booths.
