Delicious breakfast. The Big Breakfast was great. The scrambled eggs and toast were cooked just right. The baked beans had aromatic Indian spices in it. The bacon was a little bit hard, not crispy, because of the rind. The dish came with a pair of mushrooms and sausage and hash browns. And the spinach leaves added nice colour to the dish. My friends had the scrambled eggs on toast and the apple crumble pancakes respectively. I ordered a capuccino in a mug as well.

We arrived just after 9am and there were some vacant tables to fit the four of us. But there was a queue of people lining up to place their orders at the cashier counter already.

Took awhile for our food to be served, but the food and coffee came out hot and altogether, which was good.

Overall, I think the menu has something interesting and different to offer in the local area. And the portions were generous so one main plate might feed two for some smaller eaters. Takeaway option was available.

The cafe dining area is not very big but it didn't feel cramp inside. Despite its popularity with the locals (nearby, the Roleystone Market was on that same day), it was not noisy, i.e. possible to have conversation without having to speak loudly. And there was ample car park space.

I will be back to eat here again. The coffee was good too. Might try the lunch...

I was so appalled at how the staff treated each other here… I was waiting for my coffee on Saturday (for 25 minutes) and during this time I was watching the team behind the counter. At one point, who I’m going to assume is the manager absolutely obliterated the poor young customer service boy for offering some information and using initiative to ensure the customer request has been recognised. He was shocked and did not how to respond, the restaurant went quiet and the whole environment changed. The lady making the coffee, who understandably was under the pump, was rude to customers when they were asking if there drinks could have certain things included etc, I could not believe the faces she was pulling. Of course the team is going to be chaotic during busy times if they get shut down for initiative, asking questions to learn on the job and ensure the customers are having a good experience. Just appalling, no one deserves to be spoken to that way no matter what has happened, I’d be straight out the door. The order system for coffee on the metal plate on the bench - not working. I saw my reusable cup sitting there while other order went around it, there is no order here when arrows are drawn messily pointing to each cup. Yes it’s trendy, but waiting 25 minutes due...

My partner and I just properly visited Roleystone for the first time on a drive home from a weekend away in Perth for a concert. We decided to find a cafe and grab a bite to eat before spending a few hours heading back down South in the car, and decided that Orchard Espresso looked like it had what we wanted. It without a doubt exceeded our expectations. The cafe itself was so tidy and inviting. The open kitchen gave such a nice feel to the place. The menu even offered smaller sizes for everyone, not just for pension card holders and children. The food was quick and absolutely delicious. A staff member from the kitchen brought us our food and was so warm and friendly, despite seemingly not being in a customer facing role. The person that cleared our table thanked us for coming and just as we intend to be, we told them that we’ll definitely be back. No faults. We highly recommend.

We visited for a family breakfast this morning and was not disappointed. We pre-booked a table for 4 and was welcomed to a cosy table near the bookshelf with books and magazines to use. The atmosphere has a rustic charm with tables, chairs, benches and lounges to suit all. The wait staff were kind and professional with a warm welcoming. The breakfast menu has a large range for all including childrens menu and a dessert display cabinet with many delicious sweet treats. Coffee was great and the food was an enjoyable delight and well presented. We will be returning again. Thank you to the Chef and staff.
