Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Very good awareness of cross-contamination issues for us coeliac diners, we were confident dining there after speaking with the staff.
We haven't had a thickshake since we were diagnosed more than a decade ago, and the chocolate thickshake was generously sized and also actually tasted like it did have chocolate in it, which is much better than I remember from years ago at Hungry Jack's.
We ordered the Aussie Burgers with added grilled pineapple in a gluten-free bun. The staff said that everything would be prepared separately and that all the sauces were gluten free. It is not what we were expecting from a little burger place so we are very pleasantly surprised.
When the burgers came we were impressed by the gf buns - not dry at all, and of a good size to cope with the quality filling. Not an overfilled bun, due to the nature of the smashed burger patty, which I've not had before but was enjoyable. The burger was full of quality ingredients. Butter lettuce, crispy bacon, a good sized egg, yummy beetroot - all very fresh and delicious!
I recommend dining here, either in store where you can people watch people going in and out of the shopping centre or take a burger picnic across to nearby Lake Gwelup.

It was busy but not crowded and we were served promptly. Among the four of us we had two originals, one plant-based patty and one chicken burger with chips (we shared the chips which were very good). The beef patties were juicy and tasty andi especially liked the sauce and pickles. The chicken was offered with five heat options (two was a good choice with bite but not eye-watering, and the meat was crispy and moist inside. The plant patty went down well too. Credit cards are accepted and disabled access is possible. There is usually ample parking in...
Read moreThis used by my favourite restuarant in the area by a mile. The food was amazing for it's price, the atmoshere was lovely and the customer service was impeccable. But since July things have taken a turn for the worse, the customer service is appalling and my favourite worker, a young, polite, bright red-haired girl who never failed to not deliver quality food and an amazing customer experience seems to be no longer working there. Her presence on the store was astounding and without her and her work the food is abismal and I will no longer be coming here to waste my money. As all things do, good things come to an end, and you Patty Smiths Gwelup are...
