Great little hidden gem tucked away in the north side. It looks small from the outside, but it is quite spacious inside. The pizza was under performing for its price as I felt that the combination could do better for a meat eater type. (Personal preference) Chilli mussels are more into the salty style. Could be improved by longer period of cooking, one was undercooked and one was closed fully intact. Spoon to be provided would be a bonus point to scoop the sauce (personal preference)

Pretty upset with the quality drop from this place as previously it was authentic and now it’s greasy food. Had a pasta dish from there a month or so ago and the carbonara was strictly olive oil with some parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Let the pasta go but ordered pizzas tonight and it’s got puddles of grease on them. What happened to the quality of this place? Pizza is peri peri chicken.

Service- incompetent - no communication or customer service skills by female staff Food- disappointing - prosciutto, rocket and burrata pizza the worse I’d ever had. Old rocket and prosciutto which was meant to be added after cooking was clearly not

How insulting. I ordered 2 pizza's for collection, a vegetarian with no mushrooms and a buffalino with ham. When went to collect and a discussion started between the two severs, we was then informed the vegetarian had mushrooms added, we was told they'd make us another pizza, with no mushrooms. Whilst waiting we had the opportunity to watch the team working. We was given our new vegetarian and my pizza, along with a dessert as an apology, which was kind of them and headed home. We opened our pizza's when we got home and my buffalino pizza had all the toppings on one side and just tomato base on the other. We took the pizza back, and I dont know if it was the manager we saw but he almost accused me of holding the pizza wrong when I took it home, I explained we left with 2 pizza's and only one was like this, if I held it wrong I would have had the issue with both pizza's. We yet again observed the ongoing, this included how the staff placed the pizza's in the bags that are used to keep them warm, maybe worth looking at for internal quality control. I was handed my fresh pizza by the same person, and he explained to me again how I should hold a pizza, I found this extremely insulting. I have had many pizza's in my life and not had this issue. Maybe internal quality control should be addressed before accusing your customers of wrong doing. Also the pizza's are lacking in toppings for...

If you’re looking for a restaurant that truly knows how to do pizza and pasta right, look no further than Saranda. This place is an absolute gem, offering authentic, flavorful dishes that make you feel like you’ve been transported straight to Italy.

The pizza? Incredible. With a perfectly crisp yet airy crust, just the right balance of toppings, and that irresistible wood-fired taste, every bite is a delight. Whether you go for a classic Margherita or something more adventurous, you can’t go wrong.

And the pasta? Simply outstanding. Freshly made, cooked to perfection, and coated in rich, flavorful sauces that taste like they’ve been simmering for hours—it's comfort food at its finest. The portions are generous, and the quality is evident in every dish.

Beyond the food, the atmosphere at Saranda is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. The staff are friendly, attentive, and passionate about what they do, which only adds to the experience.

If you’re a fan of great Italian food, Saranda is a must-visit. You’ll leave happy, full, and already planning...

Unfortunately this is my first ever 1 star review. I have been a long time patron of Saranda Cafe, it was always a place I felt comfortable bringing my family, the food was amazing, fresh and authentic, the staff were lovely and the owner was warm and welcoming. This is sadly not the case anymore. I attended with my family for the first time since the change of ownership. The friendly staff were gone. The two girls that remained were not talked to nicely. There is nothing authentic about the food anymore. We waited over 45 minutes for our entree. My toddlers food came after 50 minutes at this point we had asked about food twice. In total we ordered 2 pizzas, a bolognese and a kids nuggets. The pizzas came out separately, I never received my bolognese. After an hour, a hungry upset child and rude witnessing I had enough. I will not return. I am extremely disappointed, also as a health professional you actually need to wash your hands when you have touched keys etc before touching food again. Do...
