Shushi — Restaurant in Western Australia

Was looking forward to trying the sushi, but very disappointed, when I make sushi at home a roll is about 15-20 cm long, there’s is the same but cut in half to fit in a plastic pack, all a packed like this and prices marked as $4 a roll, when you get it you get charged $8 as there roll is actually half a normal roll so you pay $4 for a half roll they call a roll. I bought Teriyaki beef, beef was very tough and chewy, and you only get one messily soya sauce fish shape bottle equaling 1.5ml’s for the two rolls, then they charge 15c per container, I said not much sauce for two rolls, to which they replied you can have another one and handed me a second one, then said $8.15 thanks, yep wanted to charge me for that second 1.5ml sauce. I paid $1.79 for a 500ml soya sauce at Aldi next door instead cause at their 15c for 1.5ml is equivalent to paying $50 for that 500ml bottle I paid $1.79 for. What a joke.

Tough chewy flavourless sushi which will be dry unless you buy yourself a bottle next door, or you can pay for there rent by buying their soya sauce made from 24ct gold flakes.

Go to sushi hub instead, infinitely fresher and nicer and you don’t get reamed for...

Order for the first time here tonight, which i had high hopes of because of the review. Was disappointed. I asked for one chicken rice paper rol and one vegetarian rice paper roll. When the order came it came with three servings of meat options and note apologising for no vegetarian rolls.

Whilst I understand that they tried to make up for no vegetarian rolls, by providing more meat rolls. It would of been professional to call and check with the customer first. That is usually what would happen with any food business if something is not available. My colleague is vegetarian and cannot eat any of these options and waited 45min for dinner to find they have no dinner. So this obviously doesn't help us.

Please next time think of your customers and think why would they order vegetarian rolls... maybe they are vegetarian? I will be asking UberEats to refund of course since they wouldnt answer their...

So excited to try this place given the reviews but was sadly disappointed. Ordered the katsu chicken Bento Box, in store. Waited less than 5mins to be told it was ready. I should've checked the meal before leaving but figured they'd made some fresh already and mine was the extra bits so I quickly left the store. Once home found it to be cold and the chicken to taste questionable. Also not sure if that is pan/ utensils plastic that has come off on my sticky rice or something else ( I'm hoping it is and not what I think it looks like.)
