I've eaten takeaway on several occasions @CurryHutWA and found the Indian food very authentic and flavoursome. They also feature a thali on the weekend so I'd dined in. The inside is far from a "hut", smartly presented, modern, without being pretentious. Service is lovely too. I chose the mix thali - butter chicken, kadai chicken, Shahi paneer, raitha, rice, garlic naan, and gulab jaamun. It takes some time while they prepare the meal. In the meantime a basket of pappadums with mint chutney is brought out. These are crunchy and delicious. The thali arrived and is generous. The dishes are well filled with plenty of curry and also plenty of chicken or paneer. I've eaten thalis before and they can range from one small piece of meat swimming somewhere inside the dish to a decent serving of the protein. This version is generous. I love butter chicken and this is superb, got that lovely creamy tomato flavour with a touch of sweetness. The chicken is tender and well cooked. Completely hits the spot. The kadai chicken also presents chunks of tender chicken, the flavour different, a little spicy, but tasty all the same and the plain rice soaks up the curry. I love paneer and the Shai paneer has some bite presenting a spicy curry sauce with tender chunks of the paneer (cheese). Three delicious flavoursome dishes and these are enjoyed with a crunchy on the bottom light fluffy on the top garlic naan, and to cool and refresh the palate, raitha which is a yoghurt condiment. After all that eating and a very filling meal, time for dessert with an Indian doughnut, gulab jaamun, presenting a soft spongy doughnut immersed in a syrup and polished off. #IndianFood #lunch #thali #pappadums #curry #butterchicken #kadaichicken #shahipaneer #rice #garlicnaan #raitha #gulabjaamun #Foodie #dessert #sweettooth #perthfood #wattlegrove

We enjoyed the deep flavours and warm spicyness of the food. Particular liked the dal makhani. Tried the Masala Coke, it was OK, the subtle eggy/sulphur after taste it adds didnโ€™t win me over. It was our first time here, we had found this place by accident, this will be our go to for curries from now on, we really enjoyed the food, thanks! ๐Ÿ˜ (We only remembered to take photos after we had already half eaten our food ๐Ÿ˜…)

I found my experience here quite average: 3-3.5 stars for me. The venue is quite spacious, and staff were friendly enough. The food was ok. Nothing to rave about - satisfactory. They have a fairly typicsl menu for an Indian restaurant. I didn't like the lamb korma - something added to the dish really wasn't too my liking. The naan was reasonable. The goat curry was tasty but samosas just ok.

Don't bother!!

Unfortunately this place failed us on a few fronts. Food isn't very good either.

2 stars is given as the inside seems nice.

We initially sat at a 'hightop-back' chaired table but was asked to move to a 'booth' as the table wasn't 'made up'. This was uncomfortable on my injured back, hence the decision to sit where we did. Also the 2yo that accompanied us could sit closer at such setting.

Portions of the food was just bought factory made frozen food and they admitted that one dish had frozen Aldi vegetables. Considering it was specifically a vegetarian dish, I found it quite poor. The description didn't even match the dish correctly.

Kids fruit boxes and 'pop tops' were also Aldi products, which I'm sure is not acceptable. 1st child drink provided was 'sugar-free' then the second had sugar. Poor understanding of what they are selling and annoying for us as we don't give the child drinks with sugar.

Overall the food was not tasty. I recommend NOT eating here considering the lack of customer care. It's annoying how so many dreamers think they can cook, then we have to put up with the consequences. The whole cost was expensive considering the poor quality...

Our first outing to The Curry Hut this evening - and confused by the experience. Friendly, welcoming service - food that was tantalisingly delicious - but completely lacking in coordination ex the kitchen. One dish arrived on the table with Naan Bread, both servings went stone cold as our next dishes were served to another table in error. Finally all dishes plus condiments arrived, only to also go cold while we waited for the Rice (the only item on the table that was genuinely hot for the consumption of the meal). Without doubt, some of the tastiest Indian cuisine I've ever eaten - no doubt even more enjoyable had it been served directly from kitchen to table. I'm torn. I'd like to try a meal again, but if I have to pay full price for food that's tepid - I may become incensed. Despite informing the friendly wait staff of the issue (and her genuine apology) there was no acknowledgement from the Owner who was at the counter when we paid the Bill. The jury is...
