Spice 6 Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Western Australia

Purchased a main meal of chicken tikka masala with biryani rice, and a chilli/garlic naan on the side, several days after this place opened. Was hopeful that they'd keep up the pricing and pedigree of the previous place, which was one of my favorite spots to pick up a quick feed because it was quick for made-to-order Indian, the price was quite agreeable for a meal pack, and the food was universally good.

The portions were a fair bit smaller this time around. The biryani rice was comparably very bland compared to the last proprietor's, and completely lacking in the assorted bits of fruit and nut that would be expected in even basic takeaway biryani. The naan was tiny. Tikka masala was average, Nothing to complain about there, but nothing to write home about either. Prices were also steeper due to a lack of the promotions which were the appeal of the previous business.

Time to receive items was much longer, in the way of 3x as long. Girl at the front counter needed to take 3-4 minutes just to figure out how much an order of a few items would cost. Received compensation of poppadoms, though they were soft and rubbery. I will concede an extra star for this, though still cannot recommend...

First time disappointed by the Indian restaurant. Sorry for being so direct with the review here. After seeing the reviews 4.8 stars we thought we would have a great dinner however our excitement was washed away. Only stars I could give was for service but for food and atmosphere it’s a one star. There are other Indian which offers far better quality food. I would not recommend this Indian restaurant. The food we ordered Mutter Paneer - this is veg dish was okay Naan - with the facilities in Australia we can make far softer naans. Butter roti - was okay Starter - chicken 65. You should not be calling this chicken 65. Authentic chicken 65 dish is have bite sized pieces. Was shocked after seeing the 4 big pieces for chicken. 0 stars for this Chicken Chettinad - I was excited for this dish. Hard to get authentic dish but this was worst. It was my Mum's birthday and I preordered from this restaurant and they did awesome work! The goat was delicious, our friend who can't take chilli was cared for and we were impressed with the serving size and the deliciousness and gluten free offerings for our coeliac. Ordered through their site with no dramas and did not wait at all long for our pickup.

Indeed, it's a month later and we ordered mostly vegetarian and one fish dish today. Delicious, also each container was marked clearly with what the dish was - that's really nice and helpful. Once again I ordered online, and the site continues to be easy to use. There was no waiting for our order when we went to pick it up either.
