I ordered at 7.15pm on a Wednesday night (state of origins 2nd game). I ordered a pizza and pint of guiness, believing I could eat half the pizza there & take the other half home and have time to get some takeaway drinks from a store before they shut. It is now 8.31pm & still no pizza. I was told at 8pm "5 more minutes" by staff. Had I known it would take this long, I could have finished my Guiness, gone & bought my takeaway drinks, ordered another guiness & been back before my pizza arrived. It was just under $50 for a pint and pizza. The pizza had better be good!!! I get it's a busy night, but when that occurs, then staff need to inform people placing orders of expected wait times. I've had staff come up twice asking if I ordered a different dish as well. I should have said yes. This is ridiculous. I've missed all the takeaway drinks stores and still don't have any food. Fyi, at 8.47, I went to confirm the continued wait for the pizza and was told "1 minute." I was then told, "It's been a busy night, as you can see, and you should have been told an hour to an hour and a half wait time." Read moreCame for lunch yesterday hubby ordered Wings he got very sad looking nibbles at Wings price and amount, quite disappointing especially when you see actual full Wings on the menu to get itsy bitsy nibblets 12 for $27...Wings is Wings... my club sandwich was ok, just the Turkey in it tasted liked tuna lol not very nice at all. Staff that serve you are under age so if your planning on getting alcohol you have to wait to be served by someone that's licensed.
Came for a couple of beers again today, a certain tall very short haired blonde lady was clearly having a bad day and man did it show glasses getting dropped plates slammed onto other tables...stormed off another young lady got sent out to clean up, poor girl looked like she was about to break down in tears... felt so sorry for her. To keep staff, you must lead by example, and treat them with respect and value because without them your establishment won't exist. Lift ya game owners/management of stadium. Your staff and customers are very important if you want...
Read moreThis place really needs a review of it's service practise as someone who has worked hospitality watching this confusion and chaos hurts my brain. I get liquor licensing for your "flexible" serving hours means you can't serve at the bar... but here is a crazy idea... maybe finish the customer you have served before moving onto the next.
Ordered a drink, old lady told me "i'll bring it out to you" but then proceeds to serve the next group of 10 people after me. Doesn't instruct anyone else behind the bar to pour my drink and finishes serving the group before bringing it out to me 10 minutes later.
This was practically the case for our whole group for most of the night, most of which decided to leave and go elsewhere.
If 1 person ordered a bunch of drinks, even worse. The amount of confusion over drinks coming to the table we didn't order, peoples drinks not coming at all or having to send drinks back because they weren't correct or poorly made.
Utter chaos. Just avoid. Karratha has much better...
