Didn't have a good experience with the food and the service. Ordered maple bacon avo smash and opted for the salmon with feta. The feta was barely half a teaspoon and when asked server for more, the chef said no. We then asked the manager who felt this was the coreect amount of feta to go with the dish. He did however ask the chef who again said no but on the manager's insistence gave another half a teaspoon of feta very begrudgingly. The server and manager though polite seemed unbothered. Apparently that is the normal amount of feta they put with this order. Perhaps being clearer on the menu about the sprinkle of feta than saying it comes with feta because those are completely different things. And being so pedantic about it being extra feta when there was barely any to start with was just not necessary. Was invited to meet family at Jamaica Blue as we had just arrived in town for Christmas….. 3 Of us ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and extra dressing at a cost of $25…… Shortly after they arrived at the table and were absolutely laughable….. Served on a bread and butter plate was the tiniest Cesar salad I have ever seen…… It was about the size of your fist and 2 of us had 4 bits of chicken and the third had 3…… And those bits of chicken were a strip quarter the size of your pinky finger…… The bacon was cut to pieces about the size of a fly and we got a bantam's egg on top…… I asked the girl, also owners wife, if she was joking…… Asked if she was actually serious….. She laughed and just didn’t answer……. What a disgrace……. Portions were small, service was poor, and the toast came out burnt. The hollandaise sauce was far too lemony, which overpowered the dish. Overall, it felt like a poor effort. Please do better.

Updated: Funny how all these one-star reviews say the same thing — overpriced, tiny portions, poor service, and food not matching the menu photos. And every single time, you reply with the same copy-paste apology and generic email address. If you actually cared, the problems wouldn’t keep repeating. Customers don’t want PR spin — they want decent food, fair value, and basic respect when they ask for something they’ve paid for.
