The pros: very friendly and helpful wait-staff and huge portions. The cons: let's see... The last time I visited that place was more than 3 years ago. Since I did not remember anything adverse about the place, I decided to have my lunch there when I chanced upon it a couple of days ago. The immediate shocker was the prices. They seem to have doubled since my last visit. Still I decided to stay on, and ordered a bowl of beef pho. The noodles were soggy, and the beef looked like a thawed lump of tasteless meat which they did not even bother to separate out the slices properly, resulting in extremely uneven cooking. Also, the broth looked like something straight out from those supermarket packs. If there is any saving grace, the crew on the ground was extremely friendly and they tried very hard to please. Nevertheless, this was an experience not worth repeating, especially not at this price.

We go to this place because it is closer to our place. We have been dining here for nearly 2 years. 5 months ago our orders weren't that good, the pad thai noodles was weird. It was soupy. Too much runny sauce, noodles were floating. However, tonight we noticed the management must have changed, we are glad because food was better. I HOPE THEY WILL BE CONSISTENT. Whomever is their chef before, food was very poor.

should’ve trusted the reviews… service was awful, looked like she was going through something. no blue plates at all, they had the same 5 plates rotating on the belt and we were there at 7pm…. this 5cm bowl of miso soup was $5. sushi was crumbling… i guess the one good thing about the place was it was almost empty and the free ginger😭 price vs quality, sushi at woolworths is better just don’t…..

I've eaten here a few times. The first time was at the Belmont location which is a little far for me, so I googled it and saw that there was one in Myaree. Both restaurants have excellent food on par with each other. The idea of a sushi train is well executed, but quite pricey for the novelty. Only about 40% of the seats have access to the sushi train, therefore I recommend getting a reservation if you'd like to eat from the sushi train. Service is a little lackluster, nothing extreme, but the amazing food makes up for this (food is an acceptable price for the amount you get and the flavour burst in your mouth). The waiters here don't seem to hate their job which is a bonus. Every time I've been, there isn't much or any wait time to be seated although granted I did go on a week day night, so be prepared for it to be a little busier on the weekend. Wait time for the food is verging somewhat average to a little longer. Keep in mind that most of the time, if you're ordering as a group that the food will come out not at the same time with maybe an average of 5 mins in between. There aren't many vegetarian options here, but for my fellow meat lovers and Asian food fanatics, this is definitely the place to go. I highly...

The third time I have been here over time. Two time previous I and family were satisfied with services and food. But today I felt disappointed about the food. The seafood laksa was a very thick gold curry taste and look. No delicate or subtle coconut flavour could be detected on first or second spoon of soup. The herbs stuck to the back of my throat. I had to drink immediately to wash it down. I sent it back. Dissatisfied 💯

My mate had already started on their meal so I had to decide on another dish. I'm not sure if the name but it was a pork/beef noodle dish with Bean sprouts/chilli/mint and lemon wedge extras. The dish itself was extremely oily and sat a cm thick on-top. The dish may be intended this way as I've never had it before but I would not order it again.

The food including the sushi don't appear to have any passion or care in it and it's sad to see. Maybe they're under new ownership or something but unfortunately I will not return not will I recommend anyone 😔

Best of...

Tao - Myaree - Terrible service, staff was so rude especially the manager. I ordered for Tequila and at the time of the order it wasn't mentioned that Tequila will be served only mixed with either coke, lemonade or orange juice. The waiter came over 10 minutes later before serving Tequila and asked what do you want it to be mixed with and I requested I wanted Tequila in shots as it should be served, then came the manager and with her authoritative voice mentioned they will serve only with mixer and I requested can I change the drink to which in a rude voice "I have poured the drink you can't change it now" really? great customer service isn't it? Not only that the waitress and waiter doesn't have any knowledge of the menu as a result we had exactly opposite to what we ordered. And the sushi train food looked terrible (not fresh) and didn't even go near it I usually take 3 - 4 plates from the train. I am not going back, you lost a...
