TAZ CURRY HOUSE — Restaurant in Western Australia

Extremely disappointing food and service and very deceiving advertisement in Fb.

So we got to know from Fb they are serving buffet deshi dinner on Friday and Saturday for 25$ pp and they mentioned all the items name there with some reference pictures. We were so excited to have some Bangladeshi food at a restaurant after such a long time. A very clumsy environment with some really uncomfortable seating arrangement ruin our excitement in the very first minute we entered the place. Coming back to the food review, in one word “don’t waste your hard earned 25$ to get stomach ache and weird smelly food.” In the fb post it was mentioned they will serve chicken soup, chicken korma, plain rice, tea (picture added), none of these were served.

They served smelly polao rice, begun vaji, beef with potatoes, lamb with potatoes (all of them smelled bad with same taste), chicken lotpoti type something where we found only murgi r ghila kolija!, a fish curry also with ajob taste! Sorisha vorta (they claimed) and a daal baht mix curry with some chicken cube on it served with condiments (fried onions and lemon) (we thought its Halim then realised this is the chicken soup 😂)

Only good thing was the Peyaju, so basically I had 4 peyaju and little bit of polao with a potato from beef curry. Tried to had the fish and vorta, both tasty bad, I couldn’t eat.

Then we thought lets have some tea atleast as the served condensed milk and some sugar in there we ask for tea and the staff there said they forgot to bring the tea! He offered us coffee instead (if we want he will make it)

Tried the gulab jamun, nothing extra ordinary, tasted like the canned one.

While we were paying my friend identified some expired soft drinks in the fridge and he informed the staff! To my utmost dismay he laughed and said “ekjon dariwala lok theke kinsi, ebhabe thokalo. Koyta toh sell o kore felsi”! He didn’t bothered to check the bottles let alone discard them. He just blamed the guy he brought those and kept them there as it was!

We were blotted afterwards, my friend had diarrhoea and stomach ache at the night and the following day.

Please don’t fall for the good reviews you got to read there, I literally felt scammed after spending 25$ there. Don’t waste your money, instead do the grocery and cook for yourself.

On 20/05/2025 i had a chance to visit this shop cannot be called as restaurant. Worst food that i ever had from perth over the last 3 years . Just a reminder If I want to eat frozen food i too have a microwave at home . I ordered spicy chicken curry and butter naan but i received salty chicken curry and garlic butter naan . I asked the girl at the counter and she told me that i ordered garlic naan . I will never recommend this place to anyone from my experience.
