We've been visiting the Warnbro tavern for year's,and never had a problem, always cold beer, good food and service. This time we called in on a Monday, and right from the start,we did not feel welcomed. We were served by the male bartender, who's been around a while now,and always friendly, not on a Monday is he. He was the definition of I hate my job. No greeting, just a grunt to our beer request. We had a couple of beers before ordering lunch. Second beer order, I do believe was service from the owner,no complaints there, was very polite. My partner ordered the food, and then went back to order another beer. He stood while another guy was being served,by then another customer turned up. The same grumpy bartender finished serving first customer, look up as a woman approached, ignored my partner and other waiting customer, and served lady. My partner walked away, before returning to again the rudest of service. Bartender begrudgingly took his order, then proceeded to ask waitress about her party. Thing's didn't get better,we both ordered fish, and it was not good. We paid $30 per meal,to only eat the soggy chips,as the fish tasted disgusting, neither of us could eat it. I did not feel well a few hours later, bringing everything up. I can't really blame the fish,as my partner was fine. I don't think we'll be returning for some time,if ever. Shame because we only live down the road. Hopefully the new pub opening will be better. Also didn't like the service given by waitress to two elderly ladies, rudely rolling her eyes at them. We will all be old one day,try a little patience and respect,...

Got the order wrong 3 times and blamed us for it. And made us pay up the difference for the privilege. $140 for 3 people, 1 glass of wine total, not each. You can do a lot better nearby for a lot less money. We weren’t told we had to take our drinks order that we just paid for to the bar to get it filled, we weren’t given the ticket to do so, but we were blamed for that too. “You must have lost it”. If it wasn’t for the meal order being wrong we would never have known, because no one comes to check on the table, and not gotten our drinks for even longer. So while the first meal and the first wrong meal was arriving, the person whose food it was was queuing up for our drinks. Every meal came out seperately so we all ate separately. There was only three of us! The “pizza bread and dips” only had 1dip and just isn’t worth your time or money. Burger ordered without onion rings inside came to the table, taken away without a word why, but then returned with the onion rings picked out of it. The steak was well above medium-rare, at least by the time it got to us. The pork chop was juicy but after the hour it took to get there the others had finished eating and I didn’t have time...

I came here last night for dinner with family, it was my first visit and definitely my last!

We all sat down and looked at our menus and when it was time to order we went up one by one to order and pay (as you do when each person is buying their own meal), they made a huge fuss about this and we all had to order at once and pay in one payment. After waiting a good 45 minutes for food half of the table got theirs first and we had to wait another 10 minutes for the remaining meals to come out, mind you the starters we ordered came after our main meals.

I am celiac and asked for a gluten free option for my meal and it wasn’t gluten free at all! I thought my stomach pains were just from this but when morning came the food had other plans
FOOD POISONING! Trip to urgent care for this one this morning as I’ve been non stop throwing up and couldn’t get off the toilet!

If you’re wanting to lose a few kilos by projection vomiting and diarrhoea I highly recommend this place, otherwise I would say a big STAY CLEAR of the food.

Ps. I had the bangers and mash, from working in a 5 star restaurant myself I can’t fathom how they could...

Could be SO much more!!! Being a local I used to visit this outlet when it was the Last Drop Inn, and whilst many of the aspects are still there (the lovely bar area), much has changed (or not kept up) since the new owners have taken over (sadly)
 1. The extension to the bar - whilst it seems a great initiative, when populated it is all but impossible to hear and have a conversation. There is NO sound absorbing materials and the echo, sound it absolutely terrible. 2. The outdoor section - A poor example of a space, that is not only un-inviting, but kept poorly (masses of cigarette buts in a broken pot-plant) and apart from getting away from the noise of the restaurant - is not a place to enjoy. 3. The meals - average - some good options, however very salty and oily. 4. Outside - forgotten - rubbish lay around, no care for the lawn / presentation. Seems the new owners are keen to make the $’s, but not put back to what COULD be an amazing place. Great location, but little care :( What a pity - we used to go - but tonight’s visit was a confirmation that there is little care given to the location by the owner

We've been working all day and hadn't eaten since 6:00 a.m. and at 7 pm. arrived at the tavern thinking whatever's on we will devour We had a lovely pint of Kilkenny beer and then as it was parmi night had a Mexican and hog respectively I can honestly say that dan the chef cooks probably one of the best partmies you can ever have The meat was still succulent the sauce was perfect and the temperature spot on The waitresses in the picture were absolutely spot on made us feel welcome and smiled all the time great staff and people too. A real old style establishment that doesn't let you down Atmosphere was excellent for two blokes knackered after a days work as well as family occasions and celebrations We will definitely be coming back I noticed a few people ask him for takeaway containers as the portions were so big Great atmosphere guys and it's down to the staff thank you

***WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE*** Recently moved to the area and thought we would try out the Warnboro Tavern
. BIG mistake
.! Was asked for proof of double vaccination by the bar maid who wasn’t wearing a mask and joked about it. Ordered a Stella, was presented with a Pale Ale. When I told the bar maid she just yelled at the manager “this guy thinks the Stella is a pale ale”, and walks away, the manager then comes over and says “that’s Stella” and walks away. Little bit annoyed that they couldn’t have taken the time to actually try the beer on tap or offer me another. Will never return after this service experience. The venue itself looks like a prison and in desperate need of a makeover. Will never return or recommend
