Love this place as our new local favourite! We've been here with the kids, been on sneaky mid-week dates with my wife and have taken my mate there for the feast board, which was a delicious challenge for the two of us to get through. They have a great range of their own beers, there's a style for every palate and they taste even better at happy hour ;) Chill - Cold IPA is #1 for me! The menu has only gotten better since we first were going here, There's plenty of choice, from the smoked bbq boards to the pub type dishes and a little bit fancier items. It's well rounded. Even the mid-week specials don't disappoint, with generous servings of parmi or steak. Great stuff! The venue is really cool and relaxed and the variety of seating options is really good. Indoor to outdoor seating, bar tables and bench seat tables and more casual outdoor options to suit your mood. Let's not forget the staff! Always friendly and helpful, all of them, no lies! It's very refreshing. The full wall poster inside which reflects the style of their beers is pretty cool to see in stuffy little Perth. I won't give it away, go and see for yourself :) Great beers, great food, great venue and staff. Don't hide yo kids, don't hide yo wife! Everybody got time for dat! Get into it!

We had a reservation for 16 adults as well as two children and a baby on a Sunday afternoon. Firstly a clean open inside area, a huge grassed out door area with a friendly atmosphere. Music not too loud. Staff were great and waited for our whole party to arrive. We ordered meals and drinks which came out quite quickly even though there was a lot of patrons outside. We ordered 1kg of wings with BBQ and the pork ribs The wings were tasty juicy and a great taste. The pork ribs were also very tender and tasty. All of our party had a mixture of burgers Calamari beef pies and gnocchi The kids had nuggets and chips Everyone commented on how nice the meals were A great variety on the menu And a great variety of drinks as well I gave 5 stars and I could not fault the service nor food. The only area which I think needs attention is the children’s playground I think putting soft fall on the ground and extending the size of the area because bigger children on the swings can hurt others as the swings were too close to other play areas. We would go again and highly recommend this as everything was done to a high standard Prices were good too!

Stopped by after work for a cheeky cocktail during happy hour. I had the Moscow mule one which was really good. For food we shared the fish tacos, bao buns and a mac'n'cheese. The Mac came in a small cast iron type pan and the wife and I shared the side dish. It was great! The tacos and baos were great too coming as a plate of 3 each. The fried fish in the taco was tasty and well battered - based on those I reckon the fish and chips is probably pretty good too. The pulled pork baos were a highlight though with the smokey flavour really coming through, and what I think was a jalapeno mayo giving it a bit of kick. All up the place was well priced, had quick service and everything was enjoyable. The place feels laid back and no-frills, which is good when you don't want a fuss. I'd be curious to see what the place is like on busy days, but I'm confident the food will be good so I am looking forward to doing something as a group here next time. We're spoilt for choice in the valley, but I'm glad places like this exist and are carving out their own niche with a focus on food and entertainment.

Highland Games was such a huge disappointment..

This was actually very poorly organised and the prices of the food and drinks were astronomical.. Upon getting a couple of beers the young lad that served us said you can get event pint glass (500ml not even a pint as a pint is generally 570ml) for $15 and have that filled with beer for $15 and $15 refills every time after that or you can get just a plane old plastic cup which is 400ml for $15.. I was a bit blown away by the pricing but thought a couple of glasses to add to the collection would be great and ordered 2. The glasses were plastic, the ‘event’ label was a sticker which later peeled off and I was feeling kinda ripped off as the marketing and pricing was a tad dodgy.. We then went to order food… $10 chips - which was a mixture of French fries cut and a thicker cut, 2 different sizes of chips.. $15 battered onion rings - these weren’t too bad to be honest but pricey $15 house made hash browns - didn’t see any of these so had no reference to go with $28 bangers & mash with onion gravy - just a tad over priced $30 pork shank with pickles and chips - a bit pricey for these as can get these on special for $15 at most other places $5 gravy - for a wholesome ladle of gravy…. Erm… ok $30 scotch pie, mushy peas, chips & gravy.. this is a $20 meal anywhere else $34 Scottish plate - this is a disgrace to anyone in all honesty as I can get a Scottish breakfast for $28 and it has 3-4 times more stuff on the plate than this. It was embarrassing and the food didn’t even have any flavour. My wife is 100% Scottish and the food on this was not even Scottish, it may have looked it but it wasn’t. Even she was disgusted.

The stalls weren’t even Scottish except for 2 out of the 8-10 that was on offer.

This was the second one we came to and our first experience wasn’t that great, this one was even worse.. the Highland Games, bagpipes and dancers were the star of the show, everything else was just so below par it’s a shame. I thought with new owners and new beginnings it was going to be bigger and better but I’m sorry I would not recommend anyone to attend this in the future as it was such a let down for us and everything was so over priced with beverages and food it was price gouging at its finest. The beers are brewed on site so why are they so expensive ? They’re not even imports ? Where’s the tennets ? Where’s the authenticity of a true Scottish atmosphere ?

I am sorry but we won’t be attending anymore and honestly won’t recommend to anyone to waste their time and money. This can be a true key to expanding your worth in the swan valley and the Scottish community in Perth is massive, bigger than what I even thought and I’m...

Met for lunch with a friend on a Thursday. 3 or 4 wait staff on hand, and only about 3 tables with a total of 3 people on each. I came in and she grabbed some menus and took me to the other side of the room for my table. Then she tells me that I need to go to the bar to make my order. Remember...only three tables of people in the space? Remember when staff would come and take your order at the table? They will seat you. Take your food to you and collect your plates from you.. Hell, they will even ask you if your meal is ok...at your table. But they wont take your order at the table. Why?! You have more than enough staff. If they were busy ,,, I would understand but 3 tables... really? Menu said that it was a kilo of wings so I thought, lets get half BBQ and 1/2 Hot. Oh no.. you cant do that.. That would be hard. The wings were the right kinda hot but there was no blue cheese or other sauce to dip them in. So, I improvised and asked for aioli on the side instead, and I got ...i kid you not...a 30ml shot cups worth. Really? Can you spare it? I finished that in about 6 wings and went up and asked for more. And I asked if they could put it into a larger bowl. I dont want the whole bottle but I would like enough that when I dip the wing it will actually fit in. The wait staff said that they couldn't do that and that it was $2 per shot of aioli! $2! I said fine, what ever.. give me two. She then proceeded to get me two of the premade cups that they had out. #1... it was in a container under a tray and as far as I could see...not in a fridge and that was a bit worrying. and #2.. what.. you cant scoop 2 into another bowl? Oh no, that might be effort on my part in a quiet restaurant. Conclusion: Food was ok. Staff was average (as our sheer presence seemed like an annoyance). Prices were a bit high. Since I had to go to the bar 3 times, I should've been the one collecting a wage, for waiting my own table. Wont do 1/2 and 1/2 with the Hot Wings flavours which is ridiculous...as its not that hard. And Aioli is $2 for 30ml...

Not going...

Been twice and both times were horrible.

1st time - ordered 2 separate orders at dinner on the qr code within a minute of each other. 1 order showed up in about 15mins. The 2nd order took almost an hour. We complained several times and the excuses were that the ordering system was down and that because they were separate orders they wouldn't come at the same time. If the system was down how did they get the 1st order? We didn't care that it was separate, we just wanted our food. It still took another 15 minutes even when they said they were already plating our food. Our food was cold when we received it. The restaurant wasn't even a quarter full and other people were complaining about the wait times too.

2nd time - gave them a 2nd chance for dinner, some months after our 1st visit, and decided to order at the bar instead. 3 different orders were made right after each other. Waiting 30 minutes then complained. 1 order came out straight after. Again their excuse was that we ordered separately so they don't come out at the same time. And again we said, we weren't complaining about it coming out separately, we were complaining about how long they are all taking. Another 30 mins go by and still no other food. We go up to the bar to complain and we can see our orders, and more, sitting at the counter. Our food came to us right after and all cold. Waiter apologised and gave out the same excuses even though 2 orders just came together. Again the restaurant was not busy at all.

On both occasions our party wanted to pay separately that is why we did separate orders instead of all in 1. But, I don't believe it would have made a difference with how long it took.

I don't know if it is horrible management or what, but we will not be giving them...
