Village Pizza Kitchen — Restaurant in Western Australia

Pasta was nice, but the size was a joke, the container was not even half full, and I had to pay extra for “large”. Previous owners filled it to the brim and was $10 cheaper on Uber.

Called and asked if this was normal and they explained yes, it’s done to prevent spilling in delivery. No other restaurant has used this excuse. Not worth the money.

Edit: Previously there was not an extra charge for large, so the price has most definitely changed. I did reach out, I called the store immediately as stated and they were unapologetic with the serving size. As a repeat customer I was very displeased with this customer service. The container was ridiculously empty, to the point I’m considering ordering again to take photos and show customers what a rip off it is. If your happy to review pasta product serving sizes and can confirm they will be full I’m happy to try ordering again. Absolutely terrible service! We waited over an hour for our pizzas and it wasn’t even rush hour. We were promised our pizzas would be ready by 7pm after countless times after 7pm we went up to the counter to see where our pizzas were, we then were told “another 5 minutes” after another 25 minutes our pizzas finally arrived over an hour later and 30 minutes after the promised time with no apology. We also ordered garlic bread which arrived 10 minutes after the pizzas and solid with no cuts in it having to tear it apart which separated the cheese from the bread. no rocket on the pizza which it should have. The previous owner would often put the rocket in a bag so it wasn’t affected by the heat. Rocket is essential for this pizza

-the pesto was strewn in large lumps. I had to spoon it off or smooth it out with a knife

the special cheese was only on 3 of the 4 slices

-the chicken was sparse

With regard to the margarita I never eat this so cannot compare.
