Pilsner
New world pilsner/abv 4.9%. A light golden coloured pilsner style beer with a medium body and light maltiness. Hopped entirely with new zealand motueka presenting a balanced bitterness and lifted citrus with tropical fruit aromas. Great for relaxed drinking all year round, a go-to beer, one of our favourites here at wedgetail brewing. Malts: pale, crystal hops: motueka 38 ibu's
Pale Ale
American style pale ale / abv 4.8%. Brewed to the american style, this pale ale has a medium caramel-malt sweetness and body, but the bitterness is kept low so not to overload the palate. This allows greater appreciation of floral, citrus fruit flavours and aroma from generous late hopping. A very sessionable beer. Malts: pale, rye, medium crystal. Hops: citra, motueka, & simcoe. 44 ibus
Ipa
India pale ale / abv 5.6%. Golden amber in colour, medium bodied, moderate bitterness, balanced with the slight sweetness of a complex malt bill. Traditional in style, more subtly hopped than the american varieties, a combination of citrus and floral aroma with a hint of spice and an underlying fruitiness from the willamette. Smooth easy drinking. Malts: pale, crystal, cara hops: willamette, challenger, & cascade 48 ibu's
Double Red
Double red ale / abv 7.0%. A deep copper/reddish-brown colour with a full caramel-crystal malt and rye malt, giving this beer plenty of character. Bitterness is medium-high to balance the malt character from liberal hop additions of moutere, citra and centennial. The alcohol esters compliment the aroma hops to produce a back ground of ripe stone fruits and floral citrus notes. As it warms toffee and caramel notes can be detected, this beer just keeps on giving. Malts: pale, medium crystal, rye hops: centennial, citra, moutere 53 ibu's
Chocolate Oatmeal Stout
Double choc oat stout / abv 7.3%. A traditionally styled oatmeal stout, dark and full bodied. Dark chocolate, caramel and coffee flavours balanced by moderate bitterness give a smooth creamy enjoyable experience. Malts: pale, crystal, aroma, choc malt hops: ekg, fuggles. 35 ibu's

My new favourite place. We went in on Sunday night to have a bite to eat and a few drinks. The staff were welcoming, the live act was playing and the atmosphere was relaxed but vibrant. First the beer reviews. The stout was very nice, chocolate hints and a good kick as it should have. The Ginger beer was far too easy to drink and i normally do not drink too much as they are usually too sweet and lacking in flavour. This, however was bang on. The Pilsner was crisp, clear and very tasty so i had to have a few to make sure. The session ale was good too but the Pilsner came out on top. The food was very enjoyable. The kids devoured the pizzas and even ate the crusts which was a good sign but also disappointing in the fact that i get to normally finish them off. The chicken wings were enjoyable with a little extra hot sauce added but the star of the share plates were the fish fingers. Lovely fillets in a nice light but crispy crunchy batter. Not a drop of grease but very moist. My wife and mother in law tried both salads on the menu with added chicken and the feedback was great. I had the Cheeseburger with extra patty and again there was no grease but very moist and chargrilled tasting heaven was achieved. Even the pickles stayed on which is unusual for me. All in all. Highly recommended and a new regular place for me and the family. Keep it up, its pretty awesome.

Some things in life are just not necessary.. this is one of them. The worst meal we have had in years. The venue is cheap and dirty, floor sticky with old drinks spilt and not cleaned. Our food was cold.. something simple like chips, the young girl behind the counter was so rude. Walked off complaining I had the ordacity to say something, she then grabbed the steak sandwich and dumped it on another plate, no tongs no serving spatula, just 2 hands! I asked for a new sandwich too and I was told obviously her hands were clean because she was in the kitchen. Not sure how that proves anything, no hair net no obvious signs of hygiene.. the cold chips were just thrown back in the oil, came back burnt and dry. At over $30 there shouldn't be gristle in the sandwich. We were able to photograph it. One toilet had no paper at 6pm. The cleaning products were left in the bathroom but no cleaning completed with 2 hours left til closing time and no rush with less than 2 dozen people. There's no room to walk past the few people seated in front of the food counter.. no safe clear walk way. OSH!! Not necessary at all to go to Wedgetail Brewing.

My Favourite Haunt in Mandurah I’m a regular at Wedgetail Brewing Co., and bloody hell, it never fails to remind me why I’m hooked. The spot’s a ripper—quiet as a mouse, with a big ol’ green tree over the road that makes ya feel like you’re in the bush, not a brewery. The vibe’s always bang-on, laidback but with a bit of a buzz, the kinda joint where ya reckon you’ll just pop in for one but end up camping out all arvo. One time, I had a yarn with some bloke who I reckon was one of the big kahunas running the show, and fair dinkum, ya can tell they don’t muck around. Everything’s top-notch—service, setup, the works. First time I rocked up, I thought, “Yep, this is me new local.” The crowd’s friendly atmosphere’s chill as a cucumber, and there’s no dickheads stirring the pot. Perfect spot to plonk yaself down with the iPad Air, smash out some work, and sink a frosty one without any dramas. And the beers? Ten bucks a pop—bargain! Get stuck into the Session or Drapht, but don’t stuff around—they disappear off the tap quicker than a snag off the barbie. Wedgetail’s not just a brewery, it’s a bloody community treasure, mate.
