Thankyou for your reply. As I mentioned I am aware I can return the fruit as I have done so on many occasions because of poor quality, but I refuse to waste any more time doing this. Perhaps you could speak to your suppliers about the poor quality fruit they are packing. I wonder though, why the rotten fruit is always on the bottom and never on the top? I guess customers then would not buy them. Look after your customers and not merely suggest them to come back for a refund. It's not worth the time or effort to do this each time. I have heard many other people haven't been happy either and can't be bothered returning fruit. Maybe you need to look into this and not be concerned so much about making profit.

To Country Grocer Unanderra. I will never buy from your shop again. I purchase fruit which looks fresh on top only to find out there is many rotten fruit on the bottom of punnets. Yes, I can return the fruit with docket within 24 hours but I will no longer waste my time and petrol to do this. I'm sure you would complain to your suppliers if you were not happy with your orders. Today was my first time purchasing from these guys.. the quality of the veg was amazing, (biggest head of cabbage I have seen!) Much better value than the big supermarkets. Through no fault of there own one item was left off the order, I rang them and they are dropping the missed item off tomorrow for free. Super impressed with the service. Will be a regular shopper from now on. We have a lot of bunnies and they deeply appreciate the quality of the produce and we appreciate the value of said produce.

Edit: 24 hours later basically. They made good on their word. Not only did they give us extra of our missing item, but several different berries for the trouble. Strawberries/blueberries/raspberries. Great hand sliced fresh.cold meats and only the beasr fruits and vegetables make the cut to go on the shelves to buy. If fresh and friendly old school services and produce is what your after.... Then the country Grocer is you kind of place. On a side note they also have a great table service coffee shop with variety of good Italian coffees and hand made Italian cakes and pastries. I found a way to escape the busy afternoon that hits my house everyday at 3pm by often stopping at the coffee shop on my way to do the weekly shopping so as to rest awhile and enjoy a coffee while I finish up my grocery list in a calm and quiet environment.
