Don't argue with the manager in the drive-thru about waiting in the car park because when you do get your food it will look like a dog's breakfast, half my hotcakes were torn and two were missing 30% of the hotcake. Not sure why I was asked to wait for fresh food when I received the meal 30 seconds later anyways
Update 8/2/24 another situation
Date Visited: February 8, 2024, at 10:15 AM
I visited the McDonald's at Warrawong on the morning of February 8, expecting the usual quick service and friendly faces. Unfortunately, my experience was far from the standard I've come to expect from this brand. After encountering a minor issue at the drive-through, I offered a simple solution to assist with their service flow, only to be met with an incredibly rude and unprofessional response from the manager on duty.
The manager interjected into the conversation, wrongly accusing me of being rude to her staff, with no basis for such an accusation. Her demeanor was not just unprofessional; it was outright childish, dismissing any attempt at resolving the situation amicably. When I asked for her name to report the incident, she refused to provide it, stating, "I'm not telling you that. I don't have to." She then repeatedly said, "Bye now, bye now," turning her back to me while continuing this dismissive chant.
This behavior is not what I would expect from anyone in a customer service role, let alone someone in a managerial position. It was disheartening to see such a lack of professionalism and courtesy, which has significantly impacted my perception of McDonald's as a customer-focused company.
I am extremely upset by this encounter and feel compelled to share my experience to highlight the need for better training and professionalism among staff, especially those in leadership roles. It's crucial that all customers are treated with respect and that issues are handled with maturity and professionalism, qualities that were sorely lacking in my interaction.
I hope this review will be taken seriously, and that measures will be implemented to prevent future customers from having a similar...

Read moreTerrible experience _ Ordered a meal through one of the machines there and made the payment, the payment went through but didn't receive any receipt or order number. Went to the Counter and was advised to go to another machine and order again. Did the same thing and this time the order went through. But when I checked my bank the money for the first order was deducted. Showed my transaction to the cashier. He said the money will go back to my account in 48 hours. Was advised if not, come back here and we sort this out for you. I mentioned that I am not living in your city and came for a visit and can't come back here. The cashier said call us and we will organise the payment. Called 4 days later and talked to the Manager and she insisted that I have to go back there if I want my money back. I mentioned I can't as I live in Sydney and can't come to Wollongong just for a refund. She insisted that she can't do anything for me without any apology. Definitely won't recommend this McDonald's. So...
