The Coffee Emporium Corrimal — Restaurant in Wollongong City Council

This is one of my favourite places to enjoy a peaceful morning. The coffee is always really nice smooth, rich, and satisfying. I love coming here for breakfast too. They have great options like toasted Turkish fingers with chicken, cheese, tomato, and avocado, or roast veggies with halloumi and pesto so delicious!

The café has a warm and welcoming vibe, and the place is always clean. What I appreciate most is the staff they are super friendly and respectful, which makes the experience even better.

As a Muslim, I also appreciate that there are tasty options available without bacon or pork, so I can enjoy my meal comfortably.

I was served by a rude cashier and the cashier did not give me my change back and then said that she did put in a random amount and was not paying attention to how much I gave her. Afterwards she asked my friend what she wanted then walked away. I have called up and spoke to the manager and because of my age I was spoken to like a 3 year old. I will not be going there again. Never in my life have felt like a nobody. The treatment was absolutely not warranted for. In future I will never ever refer people to attend any coffee emporiums' again. I had take away coffees a couple of times before and it was ok not wow but today I had lunch there for the first time with coffee. The portion was really small and not much taste. Although I gave my coffee cup for the take away coffee, they didn’t change the price and when i asked them, the answer was the owner wants it this way. I don’t think they care about environment and customers feedback as well. The coffee price is include the cup so if I don’t use it, I shouldn’t pay for it. That’s sad to see this...
