"Glazed donuts" should be labelled as LEMON glazed donuts. I made the mistake of buying 3 for my children only for them all to take one bite and spit it out because they tasted like detergent. If you're going to add so much of an ingredient as acidic as lemon it should be labelled as such. It's one thing to attempt to be fancy, but at least let people know what they're actually buying, which is basic consumer law. What a waste of money, and in this current economic climate is very careless. Our friend also burned his mouth on his coffee; far too hot. My bun was also half stale on a Saturday morning. Lovely cheerful, friendly atmosphere even when it's busy. Great dining in and out space with a lovely design to enjoy in each nook. Real silverware available with a cart and bin for your dishes and rubbish. Great to avoid the type of mess you can walk into in some places. Feels great to have the ability to help them to keep the atmosphere looking lovely. Spinach and fetta Quiche was delicious and tasted so fresh and puffy. Coffee was perfect with a lovely design. Hills treasure. If they were open on Sundays they would make a killing but the owners choose not to. No complaints there. Their selection is fantastic and high quality. Not the cheapest but I don't care that I pay a little more for good quality. Their vanilla slice is simply the best I have ever tasted. I'm a frosted icing guy but theirs is just the right thickness and not loaded with too much sugar. Custard is gooey but firm and you won't find a better flaky pastry.
