Yamba Bread Shop — Restaurant in Yamba

I was happy with the yamba fair bakery Up to a recent purchase. The 6 pies and 3 sausage rolls pastry was all under cooked falling apart in the carry bag provided. This Friday on closing l asked for a 50 cent discount on a sausage roll only to be refused. I must admit after a half year battle with chronic pain l lost it a bit. Today l again approach staff with no resolution to the fact l was sold undercooked pies and was refused a discussion with the male staffer saying “ l don’t know what a undercooked pie is” I do know what taste good and l stand firm those pies were the worst...

I called Joel at Yamba Bread Shop to see if he could help me with my sons birthday. We live in Sydney and my son was working in Yamba and was away for his birthday. Joel could not have been more helpful, we organized to have a dozen cupcakes to be delivered to my sons workplace, they were delivered at exactly the specified time and Joel sent me a lovely photo of Noah (20) receiving his lovely surprise. And the cupcakes were delicious - the boys on the job site all loved them. Thank you SO SO much Joel and crew. Can’t wait to visit next time I’m in Yamba....

I mean, not the first bakery I went to, hence the review. If I base review on quality of two different pies purchased, it would be, unfortunately, 1 star. Seriously. Undercooked, fell apart, filling for chicken mornay was awful. The other one was chunky steak and it was edible. The breads looked ok. I will not be buying pies from here again.
