Beautiful location, can't comment on food we didn't get to eat here and attitude to allergies was -10 VERY DISAPPOINTED. We drove all the way from Canning Vale. When calling Friday to book for Father's Day my sister-in-law was advised they were not taking bookings and only walk-ins. We walked in at 9am and found a table near the back as my Father in-law is hard of hearing and didn't want to be right in the noise only to be told that table was booked . My sister in-law advised the waitress she was told no booking and the waitress said yes that's correct but this is a booking 🙄. We asked why people could book it we were told to walking and was told this was already booked. We spoke to the manager and he advised originally they were taking bookings but cut off the bookings and started telling people to walking. The manager found us an alternative table and my husband went up to order our food. He explained to the lady at the till his father has a very bad mushroom allergy could they cook his bacon and eggs in a seperate pan and not in the same hotplate to be told nope it's all cooked together. I also have a nut allergy they advised they could try to make sure no contamination but couldn't guarantee. My sister in-law then pulled aside a waitress and explained the allergies and the lady spoke to the lady on the till and come back and said just tell her and yeah it should be fine. Hubby and I were not happy as saying it should be fine is not good enough my goodness your cafe is 30 minutes from a hospital and allergies are very serious matter. We got up and walked out and went to eat somewhere that took our allergies seriously. If you have allergies don't eat here the fact you could die is not...

Orion CafĂ©, Yanchep: A Post-Refurbish Delight Wandering into the newly refurbished Orion CafĂ© feels akin to stepping into the heart of a coastal paradise—clean lines, vibrant hues, and an atmosphere that practically waves at you with charm. The tasteful makeover truly deserves a moment of appreciation. Service? Let’s just say, if the cafĂ© staff competed in the Olympics, they’d surely medal in Speedy Hospitality. Our cappuccinos arrived almost as soon as we sat down, piping hot and with the sort of frothy precision that would make even the most cynical barista raise an approving eyebrow. Speaking of the coffee, it was smooth and flavourful, the perfect prelude to a hearty breakfast. Now, about the food: the Orion Big Brekkie was a plate of hearty, well-prepared classics that left me contemplating a long walk along Yanchep Beach to recover. Crispy bacon, poached eggs cooked precisely to order, sausages with just the right seasoning, and the kind of hash brown that crunch in all the right places. The Avocado and Egg on Toast was similarly satisfying—a generous helping of smashed avocado, perfectly poached eggs. If there’s a better way to start the day, it’s probably illegal. The Orion CafĂ© is a shining star in Yanchep, seamlessly blending brisk service, top-notch food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re in for a quick caffeine fix or a leisurely brunch, you’ll find yourself hoping for an excuse to come back sooner than later. And frankly, who wouldn’t want to return to a place that nails its delivery faster than you can say...

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the service my husband and I received at Orion Cafe in Yanchep Beach on the afternoon of February 15th. We were served by a young blonde-haired waitress (unfortunately, we didn’t get her name), whose attitude was shockingly poor. From the moment we approached the counter, she appeared unfriendly, did not smile, and made us feel unwelcome. While we initially gave her the benefit of the doubt—assuming she may have been having a bad day—her attitude remained unpleasant throughout our interaction. When we placed our order for coffee and cakes, she misheard us, but instead of handling the situation professionally, she responded with hostility. Her demeanor remained cold and unapproachable, making the entire experience uncomfortable. In contrast, the other staff member on duty, a young lady with dark hair, was friendly and welcoming. Her warm attitude was a stark contrast to the unpleasant service we received from the blonde-haired waitress, and it’s unfortunate that one staff member’s poor behavior overshadowed what could have been a nice visit. We seriously considered leaving but decided to give the cafe a chance. However, this experience has left us deeply disappointed, and unfortunately, we do not plan to return. As a customer, I believe that service plays a crucial role in a cafe’s atmosphere, and staff members with such poor attitudes can negatively impact the reputation of your business. I hope you take this feedback into consideration and address the issue...

A disappointing meal is the calmest way I can put it. Quesadillas that only have the scraps of all the delicious ingredients they list. 18 dollars for a hint of each ingredient between two wraps. Definitely not what was expected. We had to dig to find the bacon and hash browns they so proudly listed as being inside. As for my eggs and avo on sourdough. The needless mountain of rocket piled up to hide the un-buttered sourdough. Yum, dry toast and not even a sauce for the eggs. Luckily, we had spearmint milkshakes so we could swallow the meal. These were surprisingly decent. Final note, for the love of hygiene, get a broom and clear the plethora of cobwebs that have taken over the entire eating area. I dont mind eating in nature but dont need a family history of spiders surrounding me while I eat.

Honestly the only good thing about the place is the location, my father and I ordered the eggs bene with salmon and all the eggs came out hard yolked and lukewarm, and for some reason on burger buns rather than English muffins or a better bread like Ciabatta maybe, the salmon was ice cold, like it had gone from fridge to plate rather than just being chilled. The service was also abysmal the girl that served me honestly could not look more disinterested if she tried, the girl bringing out our food walked past us 3 times before we had to beckon her to give us our food, the coffee we ordered didn't come out until we almost finished our mediocre breakfast. I don't think I'll give them another chance for quite a while, I don't recommend going here for breakfast if you have a choice
