Yanchep Beach Lagoon Cafe — Restaurant in Yanchep

Truly the worst cafeteria in 10 years around OZ. -The most absente customer service with kids working absolutely without any sort of training (and is not their fault, poor them), they didn't even know what was the item brought at the table by them.Then after a question asked they run away without replying cause lacking of knowledge and afraid of answer!! That is almost illegal to force them working on the floor without master a bit their skills! It could become a shock for a kid cause they could receive a bad customer reaction not understanding why!

THEN: wrong order arrived at the table, ok remade -ordered a short mac and received a latte ok asked to remake it and THE SAME LATTE come back later with an horrible looking and cold after sitting for 15mins on the bench inside , then we had to come up and teach the barista what a short mac was!!!Are you kidding me? -half of table orders didn't come and we had to encourage the staff to make it, cause here yes... is pre paid!! -we had to give all our coffees to the plants how horrible the taste was. -Very basic and tasteless menu (yes personal consideration).

Was my second time (first was a coffee long time ago and was horrible) you really deserve a report to the council for this kind of community service. Ok some mistakes that could happen cause is a sunday morning but that situation was...

Poor slow service took over 30 minutes to get food and when it did come out didn't come together i had finished mine before my husbands came, the eggs were hard the muffin was soggy and the big breakfast eggs were all dumped ontop of each other with no care about presentation. The coffees also came separately and were cold, when my husband complained and asked for it to be hotter he was told it could only be replaced with a small cup of coffee not large as ordered as he had already drunk some of it. There was no apology from management when requested to discuss the issues, it was if they didn't care there was minimal costumer service and it was as if they were only interested in pumping out food and drink and making a much money as possible. What a delightful cafe! Perfect location just across the road from Yanchep Lagoon, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with shelter and shade, charming and earthy beach hut style decor, beautiful artwork on the walls, clean and fresh, pleasant music playing at a volume conducive for conversation. The staff are really lovely and friendly and helpful, the food is delicious, particularly the chocolate mud cake! Vegetarian options available (try the halloumi burger!) Generous portions. Prices at the usual rate for a beachside spot. They even sell handmade jewellery and other quirky holiday gifts. Playground in the secure outdoor seating area for little people.
