During our recent visit to Ristorante Pizzeria Magno, we were thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. Located conveniently in the heart of the city, this Italian gem is a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Italian cuisine.
We started our meal with the antipasto platter, which was nothing short of divine. The selection of meats, cheeses, and marinated vegetables was fresh and flavorful, perfectly setting the stage for the courses that followed.
For the main course, we indulged in the ravioli with spinach and ricotta and a salami pizza. The ravioli was cooked to perfection, with a delicate balance of flavors between the spinach and ricotta filling, and a sauce that complemented the dish beautifully. The salami pizza was equally impressive, boasting a crispy crust and generous toppings that made every bite a delight.
Beyond the exceptional food, the staff at Ristorante Pizzeria Magno were friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to the evening, making us feel welcomed and well-cared for.
Overall, Ristorante Pizzeria Magno excels in both food quality and service, making it a top choice for Italian cuisine in the area. We highly recommend it and look forward to...
Read moreWe went there for dinner. Ordered 2 pizza and ordered a bottle of red wine. There was one on the menu, a Lambrusco. The waiter offered us a Médoc instead. We said yes. He then came back saying that the médoc was not available as a bottle but they had another bottle. Cantina di Negrar - Rosso Veneto Appassimento. He did not mention the price but we were sure that it was around the same price as the one on the menu. 17 euros. When we got the invoice, it was 44.90euros!!! When we inquired, the waiter did confirm that he did not share the price with us. I told the owner that if we would have known the price, we would not have taken it. He said that we had a good bottle of wine for the price. Yeah. I saw on line that the value of that bottle is 8.95 euros. Sold to us at 44.90 euros. Not much of a great wine! I am positive that this is a trick. The waiter offering us a bottle that it not available (which he clearly knew as it is shown as a glass on the menu). And then switching the bottle for one that it sold almost 5x the cost.
The owner did offered us 2 glass of grappa (free) to compensate but we refused. They are not honest.
So if you go there, be careful with the wine.
Personally. We will not go back and will make sure that people are aware...
Read moreTruly an Italian kitchen. It was absolutely amazing. When we got there there was only one other couple sitting next to us but anyways they brought us our 2 pizzas, lasagna and pasta in about 10-15 minutes after ordering. Really awesome! Pizza quattro formaggi had lots of gorgonzola and parmigiano, it was bursting with flavor. Lasagna was great too. Pasta was with gorgonzola and walnuts and only this one was a bit weaker on the gorgonzola taste. However overall I would very much recommend the restaurant! Too bad we were only visiting...
