Goldberg Stube — Restaurant in Bad Gastein

We were just going to buy hot chocolate, me and my four friends. We where so thirsty after a long cold day and had heard about this place. Once our hot chocolate arrived it slipped out of the table because of the wind. We directly asked the waiter “can we get a new one, we never touched this one” and she replied yes. Then when we pay ahe said we have to pay for an extra hot chocolate. So weird and so not ok, we are students who don’t have a lot of money and just wanted to treat ourselves with one drink that we don’t usually afford. Very...

Same what I wrote for Weitblick counts here as it's run by the same proprietor. Only the service here is even worse than in the Mittelstation. Waited here for 15min with Stube practically empty - only 4 tables out of like 20 seemed to be occupied. In the meantime the waiter passed through 4 times totally ignoring me. And as I was sitting at the table by the bar I was wondering if the bartender would notice a new customer. But alas - no. She was too busy chatting with a friend....

Really good restaurant, service was fast and friendly and food was really good and fair priced! Came back twice! They made a good steak sandwich!

P.s. don't understand all the negative reviews. Restaurant is difficult to find on google maps so maybe people who want to leave a bad review are more common as they take more effort to find this place on google and...
