The location is far away from the town for about 10mins by car.
The receptionist who welcome us and helps us to do the check in process is quite good as she did her job to explains all the things to us except to put on a smile on her face.
The room itself is quite ok, except it’s pillow. It is too soft that even I doubled it, it’s still very thin and uncomfortable to sleep on.
The waitress is quite rude and not friendly when we having the dinner downstairs at their restaurant. She came nearer to your table and waits for you to take the order instead of asking you are if you are ready to take the order, she will just stand there and wait without saying anything until you voiced out the order to her. After the meal, she reached our dining table and say “I need the second visitor’s details” with a very rude manner by throwing the personal information sheets we have filled-in earlier with only one person’s details and a pen on our table. She never smiled throughout the session, and never use polite words like “Please”, “Thank you”, “Excuse me” or “May I”. I m not sure whether she don’t like her job or they don’t like their customers or they don’t like Asian.
You guys are opening a hotel and expect to provide services to yr customer, not to request that you must give your customers a 5 star service but at least don’t show me your face like I m owing you a million dollar.
We don’t paying money to receive your bad services, please do make some reviews among yourself to make the...
Read moreReally bad experience there and even worse response of the owner. First our room was smelling really bad when we arrived. We asked if they could give us another room and we were told that they were fully booked but that they would try their best to fix the problem during the afternoon. When we arrived at night the smell was better but not completely solved. But we appreciated the effort. The second surprise arrived when we woke up to see that one little chair was full of ants and for that reason one of our bags was also full of ants. We showed this disgusting issue to the owner and far for apologizing his only answer was that that never happened before. We understood that but honestly we paid 131€ for one night in a double room that was smelling really bad and was full of ants. Our disappointment was really high. On our checkout we tried to talk with the owner because we felt that we didn't deserve such bad quality for such high price and we wanted to negociate a refund. He answered by leaving. He just walked to his car saying that we were done if we were asking for such a thing and he left while we were standing in the hotel hall. Overall a very disappointing experience. We will...
Read moreIt was freezing cold of December and I was loving it. I had never seen so much snow as much as I saw in Austria. It became my favorite European county for more than one reason. After wrapping up my tour of Salzburg I was heading to Hallstatt and I was to stay at this little place called Bad Goisern. ||||When I booked the hotel for my stay, I never knew that this was a UNESCO World Heritage Site east of Salzburg and that the family-run Gasthof Zur Post looks back to a very long tradition business. All I looked at was that this property was situated close to Lake Hallstatt. As soon as I checked-in I was shown how to reach my room and how the entry and exit worked and at what hours. I had a good view from my room and all I could see around was snow everywhere. ||||The breakfast served was nice and the owners were very friendly too. Because it was Christmas time, the property was not too packed and there was plenty of room for you to enjoy. Every one was hospitable. The owner even dropped me and few other guests to the nearest railway station. Loved everything about...
