Arrived at 11:25 ordered an espresso macchiato and a pancake with fruit and maple syrup. It was served 45 minutes later, without any further explanation for the delay. The owner came to my table to check if everything was okay. I told him that I was very pleased with both the espresso and pancake but that I didn’t expect to wait for nearly and hour. He got very rude and said, that it I didn’t speak German he wouldn’t be able to understand me. I tried my best in a friendly manner to explain and he just left. I’m a solo traveller and usually I meet friendly people and I understand that things can go wrong in the kitchen/restaurant. But this man was downright rude and was obviously trying to belittle me since he turned to the next table and in a very friendly German asked: “Alles Gut?”. I was a bit disappointed as we chose this place because of the good reviews. The food was not good, we ordered the pancakes which didn’t taste good and had a rubbery texture to them. We also ordered the veggie burger and the veggie patty was oily made with a lot of vegetables that didn’t seem to fit well in terms of taste, the texture of the patty was soggy. Das Cafe insgesamt ist von der Einrichtung her sehr schön und gemütlich gestaltet. Für Gäste mit Kindern steht ein separater Raum mit diversen Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten wie zB. eine Spielecke zur Verfügung, ebenso ein Wickelraum. Für Gäste mit Handycap ist das Cafe auch sehr gut geeignet. Die Auswahl der Speisen ist sehr groß und sehr vielseitig, die Qualität der Produkte hervorragend und sehr schmackhaft und wurden mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail auf den Tellern angerichtet. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam, nicht aufdringlich und auf jeden Fall äußerst freundlich. Die Auswahl der Kuchen und Torten in einem Kühltower sahen ebenfalls mehr als ansprechend aus ( Leider waren wir schon vom Frühstück satt...) Zu bemerken gilt noch, dass es sich um eines der sehr wenigen Frühstückcafes in Ehrwald handelt und in den Saisonzeiten in denen der Ort sowieso aus allen Nähten platzt, in jedem Fall eine Reservierung unabdingbar ist. Ein Abendessen wird nicht angeboten, braucht es auch nicht, da es dazu genügend andere Lokalitäten in Ehrwald gibt. Danke an das tolle Personal für ein sehr genußvolles Frühstück.
