Bergrestaurant Almstüberl — Restaurant in Finkenberg

We’ve been coming to Almstüberl for years, and it never disappoints! The cozy atmosphere, great service, and delicious food keep us coming back. I was especially happy to see that they now offer vegan options—tried the oven potatoes with their dip, and it was so good! The view from here is absolutely amazing, and it’s super convenient, just next to the gondola station. The owners and their staff always provide such great service, making every visit a pleasure. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal after a day in the mountains! Gracias !!...

Lovely restaurant to refuel, it’s close to the mid station. Easily walkable with a stroller from the bergstation, pepis bear playground.

Delicious Irish Coffee and great sun terrace. Haven’t tried the food (yet).

Only minor comment is that the kids playground is rather small compared to the other restaurants...

Im Oktober hat man das Glück, dass es relativ leer ist. Da die Finkenbergbahn eine der wenigen ist, die noch fährt, hat man hier im Almstüberl ein tolles Ambiente mit wenig Gästen. Wenn man dann noch Kaiserwetter hat und die Sonne vom Himmel lacht, dann ist das Ambiente nicht mehr zu überbieten. Das Essen hat ebenfalls gut geschmeckt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Burger mit Pommes, welchen eines unserer Kinder gegessen hat. Der war mit Abstand von allen Burgern, die wir hier in der Gegend gegessen haben, der beste. ich weiß, nicht die typisch österreichische Küche, aber es musste einfach erwähnt werden.

Aber auch die restlichen Speisen waren absolut lecker. Der junge Mann im Service war manchmal etwas ruhig und wenig zugänglich, aber trotz alledem war es ein tolles Erlebnis. Auf der Terrasse hätten wir locker noch 1 Stunde länger bleiben können. Allerdings war es gut, dass wir abgereist sind, denn die meisten haben heute einen...
