Lärchwaldhütte — Restaurant in Finkenberg

A very disappointing experience this week. A male member of staff wearing glasses was rude in the extreme with a group of Australian 20 somethings...refusing to take card payments from them as their purchases were not over 20 EUR . He was vv impatient while taking our order and then also tried to refuse to take a card payment from me for 35 EUR. . My impression is that he likes to deal in cash only to guarantee a tip. Heres my tip to him...have some basic manners and then people will go out of their way to leave a tip.

Incredible experience, both in terms of the food and the atmosphere.

The restaurant had a great selection of dishes to choose from, and the quality of the food was excellent. The views from the restaurant were also breathtaking - I could see all the surrounding mountains covered in snow, which was an awe-inspiring sight.

Overall, it was fantastic. The food was great, the views were amazing, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I would highly recommend...

We asked for a large glass of ice water and got a small glass of warm nearly hot water. Sadly the pulled pork I ordered also was fairly burned and incredibly oily and just generally unpleasant. In all honesty it hit the top 3 worst meals I've had in a long while and I really hate to say that. However the people who got Weiner schnitzels were generally happy.

Waitress was also a little unhappy. Did not seem to want to be there. But perhaps she just...
