I didn’t stay at the hotel, just went to the restaurant (Steak House). With Fuschl being a small town, it was fairly easy to walk to, but it did involve walking across a pretty busy main road (2 lane road). Most other restaurants are located closer to the lake. However, the service and food was great. One of the best filets I’ve had, cooked and seasoned perfectly. Also, typical price for a filet (not the cheapest, but no where near as expensive as a few other filets I’ve had). Definitely glad I decided to make the 8 min walk to get here.

Leider habe ich den falschen Burger erhalten. Ok, passiert. Portion Pommes muss extra bestellt werden. Der Cheeseburger 16 Euro und die Portion Pommes fast 4 Euro. Erster Blick auf die Portion Pommes. Bei uns wäre das noch nichtmal ne Kinderportion. In einem Steakhaus erwarte ich auch ein gut sichtbares, geschmackvolles Fleischpattie. Tomatenscheibe war so dünn das ich sie nicht groß rausgeschmeckt hatte, der Käse weggeschmolzen, der ganze Burger hatte nur ein Geschmack. Satt war ich auch nicht. Karte nachgelesen, glaube da stand 200g. Ok da kommt man auch nicht weit. Habe durch den Preis halt auch qas anderes erwartet. Als ich der Bedienung gesagt hatte das es der falsche Burger war, hatte ich allerdings erst beim 2ten bissen gemerkt, war die Antwort....hoffe sie können mir verzeihen. Klar passiert, hatte Hunger und wollte auch keine neuen und der würde weggeschmissen werden aber einen kleinen Schnaps aufs Haus hätte es schon geben können. Die Zwiebelringe waren lecker und der Preis passend. Mein Mann hatte ein Rumpsteak und fand es lecker .

A small and very charming hotel in a beautiful and convenient location. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Everything is very clean. The breakfast is delicious. Surrounded by stunning scenery and a beautiful lake. Next time, we'll stay here for a longer visit

Food: Great considering it was a road side restaurant in a village. My partner and I had a cheeseburger and the pfeffersteak (similar to a steak au poivre). The former was okay. The latter was awesome.

Service: Good. Despite the language barrier (I spoke English and the waitress German) our waitress was friendly and recommended well.

Ambience: It was pretty relaxed and not busy but this is a quiet village so I expected no less.

Price: Reasonable I think. But I am not an expert on Austrian prices.

Would visit: If you're staying in Fuschl and want a local place for a good dinner this place is easy...

Now…we didn’t stay in the rooms but came for dinner only and we were not disappointed!! The restaurant is nice and clean and lovely decorated and the staff are so attentive and so kind!! And the food was outstanding😁😁Everything we had was delicious from our appetizer to our main meals and of course..dessert!! We had such a lovely evening..many thanks!!
