Restaurant Akropolis — Restaurant in Gemeinde Baden

Very disappointing evening. We have been there before and it was fine about a year ago. This time - less than perfect, for a party of 6. The "Fischplatte" (ordered 2 and one plate for 2): the octopus tender but differently seasoned. Some pieces way too salty, especially the little legs. The grilled scampi seem to "shrink" in size, they definitely have been larger last time. That whole thing was soaked in oil. The "Akropolis Teller" visual and in regards to taste a total disaster. Gyros was cold and disappeared under a mountain of raw onions, the Sauvlaki - pork -was awful, hard and cold, and the Suzuki tasteless. All 6 salads were presented in a poor manner, careless tossed into the bowls. Nothing appealing in how that dinner was served. One guest ordered the dates with ice cream and had to remind the staff 3 times that the order was not delivered. It took about half an hour to finally get it. Excellent food, very good value for money ratio. We were a group of 8 people, we got the food at one time, warm, not a long waiting time. One person was celiac, and the offered food was safe for them. Although due to language issues it took a moment to get this straight. If I ever make this travel again I would gladly visit again. The manager was very nice but not the waiter that gave us a very mean look when he realized we are sharing the dishes (even though we ordered a few) and asked as where we were from like to shame us. Of course He didn't know we just landed and that we were tired and starving so judging us according to what we ordered made as feel very bad.
