This restaurant/hotel was a few minutes from our bed and breakfast, this was our first meal upon arriving in Austria. We were welcomed with friendly helpful staff. The decor and ambiance was very nice and fitting for the area. I ordered a Kalbswiener which in English is a serlion steak, I was told by the waiter that its very thing and if I wanted a much better steak it would cost me about 35 euros. I opeted for the Kalbswiener,when it arrived, despite looking nothing like a serlion steak, it was very nice,the vegetables and potatoes were alos very nice, it was very filling.

My sons meal was nice alos, the ape strudel was al.lot bigget than he expected,  somuch so he could not finish it all. My other only issue was that it was not explained that the cream that came with the pudding was an extra charge. I would recommend this restaurant, although pricy,  the portions and

Review is of the restaurant, not hotel. I was there a year ago and it was wonderful, but this time everything was different. I should have known to leave when a smell of bad oil hit me as we walked past a kitchen, but I hoped I was mistaken. I wasn't. There wasn't a single good dish served to a four person table. The schnitzel was tough and overcooked, and you could taste stale oil in the fry. It was the worst schnitzel I had during the entire two week trip through Austria. Beef soup was watery and bland. Veal kidneys drowned in a slimy, unseasoned sauce and had no flavor. It looks like either the chef changed or the restaurant started cutting corners, hoping that no one would...

We arrived there at 9.30 PM, and first we were told that the kitchen is closed already, but then we were invited to occupy a table. The food and beverages we had were delicious, the waiters are super nice and polite. The fact that they reopened the kitchen just for us made us feel special and very welcome. Moreover that is the most cozy place I’ve ever been. If you are looking for delicious food, best service and family atmosphere that is the right choice! I highly recommend to have their stuffed pasta of Tyrol cuisine and a Spritz with apricot, they are forever...
