Waited more then 1.5 hours for our meals. During the waiting time we had to ask for bread from the waitress which we also waited ~30min for. They didn’t give us any plates for the bread and we had to ask for those, too. Our salad, which was made up of only lettuce, took an hour to come out.
Their excuse for the long wait was that there was only one cook in the kitchen doing all the dish washing, cooking, plating etc all by himself. This would have been fine if they had let us know before we started to order. We didn’t find out about the one cook until ~45 minutes after we ordered and we were very hungry when we got there.
The only reason why I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is that the food was pretty decent. I got the seafood pasta and there was plenty of protein and noodles. We also got the bruschetta which was great.
If you speak only English, please DO NOT go to this place. They have only German menus and their wait staff speaks incredibly poor English.
Another note is that the cigarette smell was overwhelming and suffocating outside so if you are not used to it DO NOT go to this place.
In conclusion I am sure this place is really good for a local but for tourists please do not go to this restaurant there are several other better options in the area!! And if you do end up going which hopefully you do not, make sure to ask for the wait time because they will definitely not tell you...

Short: The best Italian place in the area!
Long: Wholesome experience, delicious pizza/pasta/pastries served by nice people with a good glass of wine. Rather small restaurant (effectively four tables inside) but this gives you the opportunity to have a chat with the chef and a rather family like feel. The food is nothing less than fabulous and it's being served in a nice and fast manner. There's a dedicated parking lot behind the house and it's located in a calm neighborhood with spots to park up front in the street. Pricing is fair, especially for the given quality.

Im Mai hat dieses unglaublich herzliche Paar das Café übernommen und komplett auf den Kopf gestellt - zum Glück für uns alle draußen in der Höttinger Au. Man muss die Dynamik von Marion und Enzo einfach erlebt haben, es lässt sich gar nicht beschreiben und jedes Wort wäre unzureichend. Aber nicht nur, dass wir uns seit dem ersten Besuch wirklich heimisch gefühlt haben, das Essen ist der Hammer. Ihr wollt euch wohlig warm aufgehoben fühlen und eine Geschmacksknospenexplosion ? Dann schaut einfach mal rein. Die Preise sind der Qualität absolut angemessen. Es ist definitiv kein Imbiss oder Café, ein neuer Name wird bereits gesucht und wer was auf sich hält kann hier traumhaft essen gehen. Es gibt Pasta, Fleischgerichte, täglich frischen Fisch - und das schmeckt man ! Aber auch einfach nur für ein Feierabendbier vorbeizuschauen lohnt sich, alle sind vorbehaltlos willkommen. Die beiden schmeißen den Laden komplett alleine, auch wenn 50 Gäste da sind und jeder wird vollkommen individuell und ungestresst bedient. Viele Spezialitäten finden auf Wunsch den Weg in euren Mund. Es ist jedes Mal ein Fest. Enzo kocht aus italienischer Küche, so lässt auch für Anfang September ein selber gebauter Steinofen für Pizzen nicht auf sich warten, ich freue mich schon auf meine erste Pizza. Meine Frau und ich haben endlich ein Stammlokal gefunden und so spätestens bei jedem 2. Spaziergang wollen wir nur auf einen kurzen Absacker bleiben und finden uns dann doch frühestens 3 Stunden später auf dem Heimweg wieder :-) Wir freuen uns schon aufs nächste Mal...
