The food is great as usual. The service of our particular waitress is nice. However, she was really busy, working really hard cleaning as many table as she can. More than others. The floor isn't clean, but it is by the lake and heavy traffic, considering it is very touristy location it is very acceptable. Price is acceptable for the same reason. However, I wish to have a bit less of a wait to place our order. However, after you order the drinks ans the food come very quickly, so the kitchen is definitely not understaffed. Those two pizza chefs are working very quickly and they are very nice to my kid when she is looking and checking out how they work. All in all pleasant experience and it should deserve more than its current score of 4.2 stars. That's the reason I gave a 5 star review, hoping to get the score up a bit. It is a 4.5 for me.

Awful service! They deserve zero star. I haven’t met wieder Service in the whole Austria!! I went there to have a lunch and took a free seat (no one cared about seating guests, despite the fact I waited) After 2 mins I was asked to move to another small table, what I did. Immediately after that another server asked me to leave the table, as soon as it was reserved a d he said “I don’t know why he asked you to seat her”. I left the table and came back to my original place. Spent 3 more minutes - no menu, no attention. After a lady came and she asked me to leave my table to a smaller one (the previously reserved one, where they tried to move me before….). I answered - it is reserved, I was sitting there. But that she was negotiating my comments and she just TOOK THE TABLE WHILE I WAS SITTING AND STARTED TO SEPARATE THE TABLES!!! With me seating there…. I never met such a mean and rude service… Stay away from that place. Literally my worst experience in Austria.

Terrible service! 1) We waited an hour for two pizzas. I feel like my time was stolen. The waitress said it was okay, but the restaurant was not full. You can starve to death, but you will not be bored, because there will be wasps flying around. There are a lot of them here. There were 6 impudent wasps flying around us. 2) The waitress deliberately wanted to shortchange us. The waiter did not bring the bill. I realized that the amount to pay was much more than it should be. I asked for the bill and when waitress gave it to me with displeasure, I saw that she counted our drinks twice. This is neither fair nor polite! 3) The pizzas were not tasty in the end, we did not finish them. It was sloppily prepared, very dry dough, not tasty fillings. Bad experience, I will never come again!

The service was poor. When we finished our first drinks nobody asked us if we wanted another around ? Everything on the menu with a tomato sauce , I don’t recommend, because it is reused in all dishes and it is made out of a canned tomatoes paste . I ordered a pasta with schrimp, but what i got was a tomato soup with a little bit of pasta. My friend got a minestrone soup and it had the same sauce. In my pasta I found a gnocchi and in my friends gnocchi he found some fettuccine. My mom said the salad was good but how hard is it to serve a simple salad without dressing? Overall, what’s missing is love and care which any good chef will put in his creation! We didn’t have a pizza dish so I can’t comment on it. I suggest safe your money because there is a lack of quality and care.

Villa Lido is a really fantastic place. They specialise in Italian kitchen but you can find also burgers there. The food is delicious and they have vegetarian options too. The restaurant is also worth visiting because it is located next to Wörthersee so you can enjoy the beautiful landscape from the restaurant or during a walk after dinner. The waitresses are very friendly but they have hands full of work because of the number of guests. So if you plan to go there on a weekend make sure they have some free places for you. I'm happy to recommend this place :)

Ein wunderschöner Fleck am Wörthersee der zu jeder Tageszeit gut besucht ist. Das Personal ist jung, dynamisch und auf Zack. Die Stimmung unter den KollegInnen ist wertschätzend und freundlich und so tragen sie gute Laune auch an den Gast weiter. Der Ofenkartoffel mit Gemüse war mit frischem, knackigem Gemüse fettarm zubereitet, obwohl das Gemüse – wie üblich – in Öl gebraten wurde. Die Portionen waren alle groß und wir wurden gut satt davon. Zu vielen Gerichten gibt es einen gemischten Salat dazu, welcher eine bunte Kreation aus frischen Blatt- und Pflücksalaten, Karotten- und Krautraspeln ist. Am Tisch stehen Gewürzmühlen, Essig und Öl zum marinieren zur Verfügung. So kann sich jeder nach individuellem Geschmack seinen Salat selbst abmachen. Das Carpaccio vom Rind mit frischen Schwammerln ist ein Gedicht. Allgemein gängige Gerichte wie der Lido Burger und Pizzen frisch aus dem Steinofen sind ebenfalls auf der Karte zu finden und erwähnenswert gut. Die Köche verstehen dort etwas von ihrem Handwerk und die Speisekarte lässt weder für Jung noch für Alt, Feinspitz oder Liebhaber der bodenständigen Küche Wünsche offen. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Das Sodazitrone war mit Konzentrat zubereitet. Beim Zweiten haben wir nach echter Zitrone gefragt und trotz Bejaung kam wieder eines mit Zitronenkonzentrat und dazu noch eiskalt (obwohl ich ein lauwarmes bestellte). Deshalb gibt es leider einen Stern weniger. Sonst ist die Villa Lido zu 100% weiterzuempfehlen, da das Ambiente, die Stimmung, die Aussicht, das Personal und vor allem das Essen super ist. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt ebenfalls mit der Qualität und Quantität überein.
