Duxer Stadl — Restaurant in Krimml

The mountain restaurant on the duxeralm piste, with a large terras and a great view all around when inside. Has a standard skihut menu with burgers, fries and salad. Some typical Austrian dishes as well, including kaiserschmarrn. Which happens to be the only vegetarian option. Outside fries or oven potato. No vegan option at all. A vegetarian or vegan burger should not be too hard I'd say. On Thursdays in early winter one can eat an early dinner here and ski down in the dark with a fakkel. Nice experience! We waited for over 75 minutes for our food after ordering. When asking why it took so long we got into a heated discussion. The waiter called us liars and told us the order was "only" 40 minutes ago. We wanted to cancel the food and pay for the drink but the attitude of the staff was quite aggressive. I would skip this place and visit...

Seit vielen Jahren dort und heute mehr als enttäuscht. Der junge Mann der uns bediente reagierte dermaßen unfreundlich auf eine höfliche Frage, wann denn unser Essen kommt, auf welches wir nun schon 45 min warteten. Auf den Hinweis dass uns langsam kalt wird, kam kein „tut mir leid ich frage direkt mal nach“ oder „sorry im Moment ist es sehr voll“, sondern er hat hier alles im Griff, wenn mir kalt wird soll ich Schnaps bestellen und überhaupt, ich soll mich nicht so haben, ich sei doch im Urlaub. Trinkgeld gab es sogar, aber statt ein „Danke“ gab es noch ein blöden Spruch hinterher von ihm. Das gab mir dann den Rest.
